Justin Bieber fans make important point after he sparks outrage over ‘unsafe’ detail in photo with baby son Jack

Earlier this week, Justin Bieber raised eyebrows after he shared a selection of photos on Instagram featuring his baby son Jack.

The Canadian musician and first-time dad welcomed the tot with his wife, Hailey Bieber, back in August 2024.

Since having their first child, whose full name is Jack Blues Bieber, the couple have kept the little one largely out of the spotlight, only sharing glimpses with fans.

But on Thursday (29 May) Justin decided to share a carousel of sweet snaps from life recently as a dad.

However, some fans were left unimpressed with one particular detail in the social media post.

The hitmaker was seen smoking a suspicious-looking cigarette with some friends in one picture, while another sees him sitting in the same location with baby Jack.

One advised the star: "Don't smoke in front your kid." Another questioned: "Doing drugs with the baby around?"

A third penned a lengthy message, beginning: "Children are particularly vulnerable to health problems from exposure to smoke, including both cigarette and marijuana (pot) smoke."

They added: "Even smoke that lingers on clothes or furniture (known as thirdhand smoke) can be harmful. So…maybe consider that. You’re a parent now. Act like one."

But other followers of Justin made sure to stick up for the singer as they made the important point that Jack doesn’t actually feature in any of the pictures that show Justin smoking.

Instagram users penned: “He wasn't he was before the baby came outside” and “He's not, it's different moments clearly.”

Another fan of the father-of-one hit back with: “How about you worry about your own life Karen”

Meanwhile, a third chimed in with: “You don’t see that man smoking with his baby in NONE OF THESE PICS! Y’all say anything for attention”

And a fourth posed the question: “Where in the pic do u see him smoking directly next to the baby?”

Sharing another lengthy response, one commenter savagely urged others to ‘use their brains,’ explaining: “Jack isn’t even pictured in the photos where he’s smoking. He didn’t smoke in front of Jack.”

Hailey and Justin, who tied the knot in 2018, broke the news of Jack’s birth with a tear-jerking image of their son's tiny foot.

"WELCOME HOME, JACK BLUES BIEBER," the 31-year-old musician penned in the caption.

In the months since welcoming his family's new addition, however, Bieber has fallen under public criticism several times - especially surrounding the type of content he is sharing on the internet.

Back in March, the father-of-one shared a 'burst' on Instagram, with one photo included revealing Jack's bare bottom.

The image sparked mass backlash at the time, with many fans of the 'Baby' hitmaker attempting to remind him of the dangers of posting intimate photos of children online.
