Despite viral screenshots suggesting otherwise, Hailey Bieber has ferociously shut down claims that she re-posted a video highlighting abuse in married relationships on TikTok.
The video in question was originally posted by a social media user with the handle @bdr3391, who spoke over a previous clip of the 29-year-old Rhode beauty boss and her Canadian chart-topper husband, Justin Bieber.
The original clip supposedly showed Hailey turning up to the musician's rehearsals for the Coachella music festival to support him.
Discussing this, @bdr3391 can be heard claiming: "Most long-term relationships that we romanticise and congratulate only work because the woman is a tolerant co-dependent."

The user continued: "And when I say tolerant, I mean she tolerates mediocrity, abuse, doing the majority of domestic and emotional labor, in exchange for being in a relationship. And that is a contract that I am opting out of.
"There is no better example than Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber."

Days after the video was posted, fans of the A-list couple - who married in 2018, shortly after Bieber's split from ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez - were shocked to see that Hailey had seemingly reposted the video on TikTok.

Some of those who screenshotted the move took this as a sign that the mother-of-one agrees with the items up for discussion in the video.
"Hailey realizing she accidently reposted this," one fellow TikToker remarked.
Another added: "Hailey Bieber reposted... there's no waaay!"
As we say, however, Hailey - who shares one-year-old son Jack Blues with the 'Baby singer - has since broken her silence on the matter, insisting the viral incident was a case of critics reaching for a headline.

Taking to Instagram to share a snap of a cup of iced tea, she wrote: "Hey, I know you guys who live on the internet are really bored, but I didn't repost any video speaking on my relationship."

Hailey also added: "Have a beautiful Saturday!"
Unfortunately for the social media star, though - given that a number of circulating screenshots show the reshared video sitting on her page - some fans simply don't believe her latest plea.

"She 10000% reposted it," one Instagram user insisted in response. "I saw it."
Another simply added: "Ok Hailey."
Others, meanwhile, weren't best pleased with the wording of Hailey's response, with one hitting out: "I mean I buy Rhode, but she's p*****g me off the way she talks acting like she’s superior.
"She needs to humble her self - all that acting nicely just when a new product is coming from her is getting old, I’m done."

Another agreed: "She always gives mean girl vibe idk."
"Says a girl who’s chronically online," a third continued.
No matter how you view her statement, sadly for the brunette beauty, this is far from the first time that she has felt forced to address speculation over the state of her marriage.
Speaking to Vogue last year, Hailey hit out: "People [are] like, 'They're getting divorced' and 'They're this and They're not happy'.
"It is such a mindf**k. I cannot even begin to explain it. It's a crazy life to live."
She continued: "I feel like I've fought so hard to try to get people to understand me, or know who I am, or see me for me, and people just don't want to sometimes, and there's nothing you can do about that."
