Jennifer Lopez sparks major debate with unusual Grammys outfit

She wasn't the only celeb that left fans baffled by their Grammys outfit

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony yesterday (2 February) saw an endless supply of musical talent, heartfelt acceptance speeches and - of course - a bunch of questionable fashion choices.

Now, we already know all about Kanye West and Bianca Censori's NSFW outfit fiasco but another celebrity's Grammys get-up turned some heads too.

Yep, the latest celeb to spark a major debate with her styling choices was none other than Jennifer Lopez who championed 'business at the top, party at the bottom' like no one else.

The 55-year-old 'Papi' singer presented the gong for Best Latin Pop Album, which Shakira ended up taking home for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.

Lopez opted for a pretty interesting outfit, donning a black cropped turtleneck top alongside a structured sheer skirt by Stéphane Rolland.

The skirt's most notable feature was the sculptural details around the waist which dipped low on one side before going down into a mermaid silhouette and short train.

Now, some fans loved Lopez's outfit and praised the bold fashion risk with one Instagram user writing: "I actually really love this."

"She is full of surprises. She lives it to everyone's imagination," chirped a second while a third gushed: "JLO! So wonderful to see you all lovely & everything. God bless you."

A fourth chimed in: "She always looking so beautiful!!"

"Gorgeous," echoed another.

Meanwhile, other fashion critics online weren't so convinced with the bold ensemble with one Instagram user hitting out: "She’s so beautiful, but she needs to fire her stylist! This dress is an injustice!"

A second slammed: "Dress is absolutely hideous!"

"Oh my God, what is this dress design disaster about?" fumed a third while a fourth quipped: "Her outfit looks like she threw on her top & decided on a dress and forgot to take off the bottoms or didn’t pull it up all the way?!!"

And final Instagram user declared: "Sorry but that dress is ugly."

And Lopez wasn't the only celeb whose outfit sparked a heated discussion online as Bianca Censori's risqué attire also caused a whole lot of chatter.

Censori was seen wearing a plush fur coat, which she later removed to reveal a completely mesh skin-coloured mini dress which exposed her breasts and nether regions.

Her husband, Kanye West, on the other hand, was far more clothed for the red carpet donning a black t-shirt, black shades, black trousers and black shoes to match.
