Grammys viewers spot singer's 'fuming' reaction after Beyoncé wins best country album

It seems not everyone was pleased to see Queen Bey walk away with the sought-after country accolade

We're only an hour into this year's Grammys, and already it sounds as though tensions are running high.

Minutes ago, Beyoncé was awarded the Best Country Album award for her 2024 studio album Cowboy Carter - much to the dismay of one fellow artist, Kacey Musgraves, apparently.

For her album Deeper Well, Kacey wasn't just up against Queen Bey, but also the likes of Post Malone, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson in the highly sought-after category.

It ended up being Beyoncé's year, however, and award presenter Taylor Swift went on to reveal that she'd bagged the accolade.

The camera then panned to the nominees that hadn't won, with viewers believing Kacey didn't look too pleased to have lost out.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one claimed to observe: "Kacey is not having it! HAHAHAHAHAHA".

"No because why did Kacey Musgraves look P****D", another added, as a third went on: "kacey looks fuming."

And another wrote: "Kacey Musgraves was not too happy with Beyoncé’s win."

It was always expected that Queen Bey would walk away with an award or two this year, with her country-esque album having been shortlisted for a staggering 11.
