Jennifer Aniston stunned after finding out Reese Witherspoon’s real name

Jennifer Aniston was left stunned when she discovered that Reese Witherspoon's first name is not, in fact, Reese.

It's well known that Jennifer and Reese have been good friends for quite some time, with it starting in 2000 when the Legally Blonde star made a guest appearance on Friends which, as we all know, Jennifer starred in as the iconic Rachel Green.

Though the pair wouldn't reunite on screen together until 2019 for The Morning Show, they've been firm friends ever since meeting on the sitcom's set.

And they recently took to LADBible Entertainment's show on YouTube Do You Even Know Me? to promote season four of The Morning Show.

Reese started off confident, saying 'I've known this person for 25 years, how could I lose?'

Things started with Jennifer asking what was wrong with one of her first houses, and it turned out that it was, in fact, haunted. But it was when they got to the topic of Reese's middle name that the true bombshell dropped, leaving Jennifer absolutely gobsmacked.

Reading out the question, Reese asked: "What is my real middle name? A: Jane B: Jean or C: Joan."

Jennifer guessed A, incorrectly as Reese came back that it is in fact B, Jean. But that was far from the biggest revelation in the segment, as the Friends star would soon discover when Reese innocuously said: "It's confusing. I'm Laura Jean."

A shocked Jennifer exclaimed: "Laura Jean?"

Reese confirmed: "That's my real name, yeah," which the astonished Jennifer seemingly could not believe, saying: "Laura! Who's Laura? Who the hell's Laura?"

She quipped: "I'm not calling you that from now on!" before asking: "Where did Reese come from?"

"It's my middle name," Reese replied, "I'm Laura Jean Reese."

All this time, and Reese (or should that be Laura) had a completely different name!

Jennifer went on to ask her friend and cast mate what made her choose Reese for her 'acting name', to which she explained that she 'didn't change it', but had just always gone by Reese.

But Jennifer wasn't the only one surprised when Reese confessed that she didn't know her middle name either, which Jennifer clarified is Joanna.

Fortunately, Reese was able to claw back some points when she correctly answered how Rachel had ruined an English Trifle in an episode of Friends.

All fans will know that it was by adding minced beef and peas to the dessert, with Jennifer explaining that the pages of the magazine Rachel was using for the recipe were stuck together.

This meant she had accidentally flipped the page over into a recipe for shepherd's pie, leading to the hilarious and unfortunate mishap.
