While everyone has their unique peculiarities, James Corden has faced criticism for his unusual showering routine.
Every so often, the internet will go to war over whether or not something someone does is odd when it comes to showering.
Remember when everybody was arguing over whether you wash your legs in the shower or not because Taylor Swift said she didn't, or whether you face the shower head or away from it?

It seems celebrities do too when it comes to hygiene, and the TV host/comedian's routine has got experts warning against trying it.
How you wash your hair is a personal thing, depending on the type of locks you have.
Some people wash theirs daily; others go for a few days in between, while some leave it at least a week.

James, who has recently opened up about using Ozempic, has horrified people with his hair washing habits.
When he was hosting The Late Late Show back in 2002, he was talking how long he spends in the shower.
Apparently, the average time spent under the shower is eight minutes, according to the CDC.
They clearly haven't hosted a shower concert recently, or spent enough time practicing arguments in there, clearly.

Corden confessed he spends a lot less, getting the job done in record time.
James said: "I’m in and out [of the shower] in a solid three or four."
LA locals were being urged to spend less time getting clean in an attempt to save water.
James said one of his tricks for cutting down the length of his showers was to do with his hair.

He said: "I use soap, but I don’t wash my hair. I wash it every two months."
"That is a true story.”
His horrified colleagues hit back, calling him 'dirty' and 'nasty' for the confession.
Unfortunately for James, viewers at home and on social media agreed with them.

“Yuck! That is nasty,” wrote one, while others kept it simple with “Ew.”
So how often should we be washing our locks?
Anabel Kingsley is a hair expert as a trichologist for haircare brand Philip Kingsley.
She told Glamour magazine about how often you should be getting the shampoo and conditioner out and cleansing your scalp.
“I would not go for more than three days between washes,” Kingsley said, insisting that leaving it any longer can actually be really bad for you.
“Your scalp is skin and needs similar care to the skin on your face - and for scalp health, daily cleansing is best,” she clarified.
You wouldn't go three days without washing your face, would you? (We hope!)
“You take your hair and scalp to the same places you take your face and they get just as dirty.
"You wouldn’t go for days on end without washing your face (especially if you live in a city) – so why would you do that to your scalp?”
According to the folks at John Frieda, you really have to judge it by what hair type you have, saying those with especially thick or curly hair could maybe get away with a week or two between washes.
Just don't leave it as long as James.
