Chloe Lewis has shared a tribute to ex-boyfriend Jake Hall following his sudden death earlier this month.
Hall had been in Santa Margalida, Mallorca, on holiday when he passed away, aged 35.
A spokesperson at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) confirmed Jake's death on 7 May, telling Tyla in a statement: "We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities."
It was later confirmed that Hall had sustained fatal head wounds, which are believed to have been caused by shards of death after the reality TV star fell through a glass door.
Taking to Instagram today (29 May), TOWIE star Chloe - who dated Hall on-off for several years - penned an emotional statement which began: "My first love, my childhood sweetheart. A love that taught me so much about life and myself, and even more so now, your presence is no longer here.
The star died after falling through a glass door (Instagram/@jakehall) "A complete pain in the arse most of the time, but always with the purest heart and the greatest soul. You touched so many lives and meant well in everything you did. I knew who you were… and I know what you wanted from life… a happy home and a loving family. Being the best dad was the most important thing to you & we always use to speak about it."
She added: "You did that, Jake, with pride and made it look so easy and effortless. Like I knew you would.
"We met at the age of 16, when you stalked me in a bar and ended up coming out with my sister and Danny for the night. You looked like you had stepped straight out of a Ralph Lauren catalogue in your shirt, sleeves rolled up, with a red sweatshirt tied over your shoulders like a little Spanish boy. I remember thinking, How am I stuck with this guy for the night?"
Chloe reminisced: "But somehow, you danced with me all night and we belly-laughed until the early hours. You made me feel like I was the most wonderful person you had ever met. From that day on, we were inseparable, and you became my best friend.
"Navigating our young years and being thrown into a reality TV show, being in the public eye wasn’t really what we wanted, but it all just happened so quickly & it took over our relationship. It was a huge struggle for me & mentally hurt us both."
The ITVBe star continued: "We had our ups and downs, but we always knew how to come back to each other… until it was all too late. Life got in the way, and we separated after spending 10 years together. We didn’t love wrong, we just didn’t know how to hold on to it.
"The most talented and creative person I knew, from such a young age — starting Prevu in your mum and dad’s garage. Me and Mummy were always your No.1 fans.

It was unique, just like you."
Taking to the comments, she went on: "You loved music the way it should be loved, and the words to so many songs mean so much more now. I’ll never forget the moment you sang 'Ordinary People' to me for the first time, and it will forever be our song. Sitting at your laptop, smiling at me while singing, 'Girl, I’m in love with you' with your cheeky smile and love in your eyes. The best kind of Jake.
"You were a pest and drove the people who cared about you crazy, but we loved you, and I wouldn’t have changed you for the world. The last few weeks have felt very surreal, and I still don’t really know how to process you being gone. I last saw you in February 14th when I told you to take care of yourself. But you never listened, did you? You always did it your way."
Hall leaves behind a daughter (Instagram/@jakehall) Chloe added: "You were such a massive and special part of my life, and I truly hoped that we would grow old, that I’d see you one day, happy and at peace with life. We’d smile at each other and be grateful that life had been good to us. But now I know that God had better plans for you.
"Heartache echoes through the world for you Jake. I’ve never seen so many people pour their love out for one person. I wish you could see it all — to realise just how deeply you were loved. I hope you can now, and that your mind is finally peaceful.
"You’ll be in my thoughts forever, and I’m sorry I couldn’t have saved you."
Chloe accompanied her message with a video containing images of herself and Hall together, along with the John Legend song 'Ordinary People'.
Jake also left behind the mother of his child, Misse Beqiri, with whom he also had an on-and-off relationship from 2016.
“At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss," reps for the star told Tyla.
Hall also shared a child with Missé Beqiri (Kirstin Sinclair/Getty Images) "The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
The couple welcomed their eight-year-old daughter, River, in November 2017.
