Did you know that Ivanka Trump's real name actually isn't Ivanka at all?

People are mind-blown to discover that the eldest daughter of Donald Trump, 43, goes by 'Ivanka' as a nickname, rather than it being her actual given name.

This is almost as shocking as when royal family fans found out that Prince Harry's name isn't actually Harry, but is instead Henry.

When the Duke of Sussex was born to dad King Charles III and the late Princess Diana back on September 15 1984, he wasn't actually given the name we call him.

And even Harry - or should we say Henry - himself, has not the foggiest idea why.

Speaking previously with a child named Henry at the WellChild Awards, he told the youngster - as per Entertainment Tonight: "My name is Henry as well. But everyone calls me Harry."

The royal went on to admit: "I have no idea why."

And it's a similar case for Ivanka, who opened up about her real name all the way back in 2010 when asked a question about it on social media.

Answering a fan who asked where her name came from, she admitted: "My actual name is Ivana. In Czech, Ivanka is the baby name for Ivana, like Bobby is to Robert."

So, he real name is Ivana, the same name as her late mother, Trump's ex-wife Ivana - it's kind of giving Lorelai and Rory from Gilmore Girls.

Her full name on her birth certificate is Ivana Marie Trump - not to make it confusing or anything!

Her mother, the OG Ivana Trump, was born in Czechoslovakia and emigrated to Canada in the 1970s.

She was married to Trump from 1977 until 1992 and they welcomed three children together - Donald Jr., 47, Ivanka, and Eric Trump, 41.

Trump also had a daughter, Tiffany Trump, 31, with his second wife, Marla Maples, as well as his youngest child, Baron, 19, whom he shares with his current wife Melania.

Anyway, despite her real name being Ivana, it seems that the American businesswoman prefers Ivanka, seeing as that's what she's chosen to go by for her whole life.

It comes after Ivanka took on a surprising new role in partnership with her father, despite previously promising to stay away from the world of politics.

For those who didn't know, Ivanka had previously served as a full-time adviser during her father's first term in office, from 2017 to 2021.

However, since he returned to the Oval Office for a second term in January, she has largely kept out of it all and even admitted she 'hates politics'.

In a 2022 Instagram post, Ivanka explained: “I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritise my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics."

But, she appears to have changed her mind as Ivanka is reportedly helping the CEO and President of UFC, Dana White, with his plan to stage a UFC event on the grounds of the White House.

White recently told Front Office Sports: "I feel really good about how that’s progressing. We’re actually heading (to Washington) at the end of August for meetings about it. Ivanka is also involved in this."
