Hailey Bieber has sad response to fans who think her relationship with Justin is doomed

Hailey Bieber has opened up about how negative remarks about her marriage to Justin Bieber make her feel.

The 27-year-old Rhode founder and mum-to-be has been married to musician Justin Bieber since 2018.

In May this year, it was announced that the Biebers are expecting their first child together.

The duo have faced tons of scrutiny over the years - especially due to their public ups and downs, including a split in 2016 before reconciling.

Hailey said on an episode of Justin's Seasons docuseries in 2020: "[Justin] was the first person I ever had real feelings for.

"When things kind of went south for a little bit and we went our separate ways, I just knew that no matter what the outcome was going to be, he was going to be somebody that I loved for the rest of my life. No matter what, he was always going to hold a special place in my heart."

Upon the two getting back together, they were often maligned by fans of his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, who seemed intent on trolling the pair and rooting for 'Jelena'.

In a new interview with W Magazine, Hailey has expressed how the scrutiny of her relationship has truly made her feel.

She said: "People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy.

"I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realise that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”

Discussing the impact of getting married at just 21 years old, Hailey reflected on that monumental decision.

She continued: "I wouldn’t tell a 21-year-old in the chair right there, ‘I think you should get married.' It’s really each individual’s experience.”

Upon the two tying the knot, Hailey posted a picture that was simply captioned: "Last Monday was the most special day of my life."

Reflecting further on how her pregnancy has been so far, Hailey mused: "In the beginning [of pregnancy], it was super emotional for me. Like, ‘I love this human so much. How can I possibly bring someone else into this?’

“I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us.”
