Hailey Bieber gives small insight into life as a new mum as she breaks social media silence for first time since giving birth

Hailey Bieber has finally broken her silence after giving birth to her son.

Last Saturday (August 24), 27-year-old Hailey and her husband Justin Bieber, 30, announced the birth of their first child, Jack Blues Bieber.

Taking to social media, the ‘Baby’ hitmaker posted a sweet picture of his son’s foot being held by his wife’s fingers with the caption: “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.”

Days later, Hailey has officially shared her first post since the arrival of their newborn son.

On Monday (26 August), the Rhode Cosmetics founder shared a short clip with her 53.3 million Instagram followers via her Stories.

The video was of the 1989 animated movie The Land Before Time and showed the pivotal moments where dinosaurs Littlefoot, Ducky and Cera are hatching from their eggs.

Hailey and Justin, who have been married since 2018, first announced their pregnancy back in May.

And since Justin revealed Jack’s name, die-hard fans of the star have been speculating where the unique name may have originated.

Some believe ‘Jack’ is a nod to the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker’s dad Jeremy, with one social media user writing: “Jack Blues Bieber Jack is from Justin's dad [...] And Blues is because he is a boy, I guess, BIEBER.”

Meanwhile, People also reported that the couple’s son has continued a Bieber family tradition by using the initials ‘JB’.

Another has speculated that Justin has always had the middle name ‘Blues’ in the works after writing in a 2010 tweet: “You’re my boy blue!!”

Following the reveal of Hailey and Justin’s son, fans have discovered that the latter requested that his spouse have her nails done ahead of her due date.

Hailey’s manicurist Zola Ganzorigt revealed that the star’s manicure, pictured in the birth announcement post, was her husband's decision.

“Justin has been choosing Hailey’s nail design lately and it was his request,” she recently told Vogue.

She also described the intricate design as a ‘more muted nudish white micro French on almond-shaped nails’.

Hailey and Justin’s decision not to share a photograph of their first child yet comes after she revealed she'd wanted to raise her family out of the spotlight.

However, she claimed that because she was married to a global superstar, attention was ‘probably totally unavoidable’

Speaking to GQ last year, she said: “Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now than it was when I was 18.

“It’s so hard to say what I’m going to do or not do when there isn’t even a child here yet. I don’t even know what it feels like to be a parent other than a dog parent yet. And that’s not the same thing, by any means.”
