Guy Fieri has left fans absolutely stunned after sharing his 'new look' on social media.

The American restaurateur and author, who turned 58 yesterday (22 January), took to Instagram to commemorate the occasion with a video, where he looked completely unrecognisable.

Fans of the Food Network star will know he's synonymous with his bleached blonde spiked hair, goatee beard and small hoop earrings.

But this new video showed Guy looking worlds away from his usual self, sporting a blue and white checkered button-down shirt and tan trousers, complete with a brown belt.

His signature blonde locks were replaced with a much more conservative hairstyle - a brown comb-over, not to mention his earrings and facial hair were also completely gone.

In the video, before blowing out candles on a birthday cake, Fieri said: "Hey there. After so many years of celebrating my birthday as Guy, I figured this year I'd celebrate it as just a guy. Happy birthday to me."

Take a look for yourself:

He added in the caption: "New Year. New Guy. New Look."

In case you didn't guess it already, it looks like the video was made with the help of AI, so don't get used to the drastically different look.

Fans in the comments were absolutely loving it and it's taken some longer than others to work out that artificial intelligence was involved.

One quipped: "The best video I’ve seen ever. HBD."

A second added: "Wow, I barely recognised him. Bro looks like my car salesman. Happy birthday!!"

A third joked: "Idk who this Guy is but Happy Birthday to you my Guy."

Another social media user wrote: "Don’t know what to think or say, just a great laugh and hopefully you’ll return to the Guy we all know with you’re original iconic look."

Meanwhile, one user chimed in with: "Took me a long time to figure out who this is lmao."

And somebody else simply commented: "My brain can’t compute what I’m looking at."

The Emmy-award winning TV show host's son, Hunter, 29, even joined in with the fun, writing: "Dad… when did you start selling insurance?"

He also shares Ryder, 20, with his wife Lori, whom he married back in 1995.

Fieri previously revealed the 'truth' behind his iconic look, telling People in 2022: "People think I got tattoos and bleached my hair because I was going to be on TV.

"I made those great decisions before I got here."
