It wouldn't be the Grammy Awards without one musician brutally snubbing another.
Last year, it was country star Kacey Musgraves who was caught on camera practically rolling her eyes after competitor Beyoncé was bestowed the Best Country Album over her, for the latter's toe-tapping success Cowboy Carter.
This year, however, it's Miley Cyrus who has been accused of a similarly sassy move, seemingly directed at fellow hit-maker Lady Gaga.
For those who missed it, the A-list pair were both nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album during last night's (1 Feb) star-studded soiree, which took place at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles.

Cyrus, 33, had been nominated for her existential visual album Something Beautiful (released in May 2025), whilst Gaga's synth-pop electric-rock work Mayhem (released last March) saw the 39-year-old placed into the same prestigious category.

Also put up for the win were Justin Bieber for his 'comeback' compilation 'Swag', as well as Sabrina Carpenter for her satirical pop/rock album Man's Best Friend, and Teddy Swims for the second-half of his reflective debut work I've Tried Everything but Therapy.
In the end, however, it was Gaga announced as this year's winner, after which the vast majority of the audience got onto their feet to applaud her, including fellow nominee Carpenter, 26.
Taking to the stage, the 'Poker Face' chart-topper encouraged fellow female hit-makers to 'always listen to yourself and always fight for your ideas, fight for your songs, fight for yourself as a producer'.
Gaga added: "Make sure that you are heard loudly - and thank you so much for supporting me, all of you, in my craft."
Astonishingly, however, one person who remained firmly seated was Cyrus, who even appeared to grimace after the cameras panned to her.

The moment failed to escape the notice of fans watching on from home.
"Miley not standing for Gaga and giving stank face with whoever her plus one is," one X (formerly Twitter) user penned. "I need answers."
Another hit out: "F**k Miley Cyrus don't react to lady gaga like that ever again."
"I was taken back!!!" a third viewer confessed, whilst a fourth begged: "Now I need an explanation on why Miley sat for Gaga….".
Some fans of the 'Flowers' star subsequently pointed out, however that Cyrus' beef may not have been directed at Gaga, but record producer Andrew Watt, who joined the winner on stage whilst she accepted her award.
Though the reason for a supposed spat hasn't been publicly alluded to, fans picked up on the fact that Watt previously worked with Cyrus on her 2020 album Plastic Hearts, and wondered whether they may have endured a falling out during the process.

One wrote online: "Miley was never going to stand up when Watt was on the stage, it had nothing to do with Gaga. Please learn your history before speaking on her."
"Miley shading Andrew Watt not Gaga I’m actually obsessed by it," another added.
Despite this, Watt previously hinted that his time with the Disney alum was nothing but positive, telling Entertainment Weekly in 2020: "I have known Miley [Cyrus] for a long time, and I’ve known her work and paid really close attention to all the stuff she was doing because I was such a fan.
"When she and her team came to me saying that she wanted to lean into her rock vibes a bit more, it was a dream."
Of the singer, he added: "You’re on Miley’s ride when you’re there, and she connects to her lyrics so hard. The music of 'Plastic Hearts' was within the first three things I made for Miley.
"And I believe it was the second song we ended up writing for the album."
Tyla contacted Cyrus' representatives for comment.
