Identical twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse have made a shocking discovery about their family history.
Speaking on October 20th on his Wildmen podcast, 34-year-old Dylan, said he ‘found out something weird’ about his family’s history of twins following a DNA test he took to explore his ancestry, reported People.
The former child-star announced in the podcast, where he gave intimate details of his journey, “Cole and I are children of incest.”
He explained of his experience of taking the DNA test: “When I first took it, my actual breakdown of history was very different than it is now.

“I’ve found a lot of family members, weirdly, who I never met, because my dad’s side of the family is pretty fractured. I started to talk to them, compare and contrast.”
He described how he learned both his maternal and paternal sides of his family lived in California during the Gold Rush period of the late 1800s. His relatives were married after that time, “And then, they diverged, and then they married again [through] my mom and my dad, like, last generation,” he explained.
The Disney Channel alum said he decided to dig deeper after ‘starting to get suspicious’ over his uncles also being identical twins.
“I called Cole, I showed him a picture, I was like, ‘Dude, I just found out some f---ing crazy s---,’” he said.
“I’d only ever thought that identical twins or twins in general came from my mom’s side of the family. We had seven sets of twins in four generations,” Dylan said.
He said he realised the reason for there being so many twins was ‘because it’s the same family!’

After the revelation the family genes may have crossed at some point, Dylan said, “A lot of stuff started to make sense.”
“One of my aunts was a twin, but she was one of the twins who ate her twin in the womb, and when they cut open a cyst in her shoulder, it had teeth and hair,” he said.
“Long story short, Cole and I are children of incest.”
The pair launched their careers in Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
In September, Dylan welcomed his daughter Sylvie into the world, who he shares with his wife Barbara Palvin.
“There’s a moment when I look at Sylvie, and I’m like, ‘This is the coolest thing ever,’” Dylan said of Sylvie in a recent episode of Wildmen.
“She’s looking at me, and her eyes are opening. She’s got a small wake window during the day, and she’s looking at me, and she smiles or something, and it’s the cutest thing.”
