The following year, in February 2024, Sprouse revealed how he proposed to Palvin in Big Sur.
During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, he explained that the location is 'one of the most populated sea otter zones in California'.
"So, I was like, 'Okay, we're gonna get down on the knee there's gonna be tons of sea otters all around ... and as soon as we were walking in to the wildlife park, one of the rangers came up and said, 'Hey, just to let you guys know, we haven't seen sea otters here in months,' " he said. "I was like, all right, we're here anyway, and I'm already in a button-down on a hike.' "
But things luckily worked out as he 'got down on one knee over a beautiful vista, did the thing, she said yes, thankfully, and then immediately afterwards, we see a little head bob out of the water'.
The pair debuted Palvin's pregnancy on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival (14 May).
