Fans of Dax Shepard have commended the actor this week, for publicly promising to support his daughter's egg-freezing plan.
Appearing on the latest episode of his popular Armchair Expert podcast, the 51-year-old was asked about the two daughters he shares with fellow movie star wife, Kristen Bell.
For those in need of a reminder, Shepard and Bell - who married at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office in 2013, six years after the Detroit locals first began dating - are mother and father to daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11.
Having reportedly relished the upbringing she received from their A-list parents, the couple's youngest is said to have vocally expressed her own hopes of one day becoming a mother herself - despite only just starting high school.

Discussing this ambition on this week's show, Without a Paddle actor Shepard claimed: "Delty was saying how she can’t wait to have a baby. She’s gonna really do it well."

Going on, he admitted his daughter's hopes were first expressed to him last year, after which he vowed never to become judgemental on the matter.
"She’s saying she wants to have a baby, and I said, 'When do you think you’ll have your first child? When you turn 18?'

"I want to be supportive of whatever."
He added: "I don’t want to plant any seeds that I’d be judgmental or whatever."
After getting the impression, however, that Delta planned to wait until she was between 35 and 45 to try for a child, Shepard claims he went on to suggest the youngster freezing her eggs, vowing he'd assist her.
"I said, 'I think, If you want to, we’ll freeze your eggs when you’re 18. I’ll pay for you to get your eggs frozen so you don’t have to think about that.'"

After the podcast's co-host Monica Padman - who previously had her own eggs frozen - agreed 'the earlier the better', the actor continued of his offer: "Look, acknowledging our luck and privilege, obviously, this isn’t an option for most people.

"But I think given where it’s, the trajectory, it would make the most sense."
Shepard continued: "I think they’re going to be wrestling with the same thing every woman is. You’re gonna want to do your career."

Despite some critics slamming the Parenthood as 'weird' and 'creepy', others praised the actor for fully hearing his daughter's wishes and abstaining from giving her a telling off.
"Coming from the fertility world this is beautiful of him to offer to do for her once she is an adult," one Instagram user gushed.
Another wrote: "This is important. The part where he said 'get your eggs frozen so you won’t have to think about that' because as women, sometimes when things don’t happen in our timelines we settle, or we get discouraged that it won’t happen for us.
"Him freezing her eggs not only allows her to have access to the best eggs she can have without aging and allows her not to have to worry about starting a family until she is truly ready."

The same user continued: "The worst is being 35/40 and the medical world tells you your geriatric age and puts fear in you about starting a family. I think this is a smart move."
A third agreed: "I mean it’s one less thing she would have to worry about if she decides to have kids at a later age."
