Sex and the City star Chris Noth ignites Sarah Jessica Parker feud rumours with savage remark

The Mr Big actor has seemingly made his feelings about his former co-star clear

Carrie Bradshaw and Mr Big are fighting again.

Sex and the City star Chris Noth just publicly aimed his former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker with a savage social media swipe - and fans are shocked.

The hit comedy-drama series, which first graced our screens back in 1998, boasted a star-studded cast, including the likes of Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Noth.

It was broadcast from 1998 until 2004, throughout most of which the two actors starred alongside each other as love interests.

As we say, though, things seem to have gone sour recently, with Noth publicly taking a swipe at the star on Instagram.

It comes after Parker was honoured with the Golden Globes' Carol Burnett Award at the beginning of the month for her outstanding contributions to television.

She was presented with the prestigious gong last week during a Golden Eve special, and during her acceptance speech, she talked about how she worked with the 'most glorious ensemble of women and actors' on Sex and the City for the last 25 years.

Meanwhile, Noth also took to Instagram last week to share a picture of himself working hard in the gym and looking pretty unamused.

In the caption, he penned: "'F&@k New Years - LET'S GO!'"

Then, in the comments section, one fan wrote: "You mean fcuk [sic] sjp & her award right? lol," to which the actor agreed: "Right," as reported by People Magazine.

Fans have been shocked by the very direct statement, with one replying:" WHAT DID I MISS SOMETHING," and another adding: "LMFAOOOO WOAH?????"

Others penned: "Lmao I need the tea???" and "what'd I miss #mrbig."

While someone else was firmly defending Parker, writing: "He’s just bitter that they [wrote] him off the show."

It comes after Noth became embroiled in a scandal in 2021 after two anonymous women claimed he sexually assaulted them in separate incidents in 2004 and 2015.

No charges were ever brought, and the actor has vehemently denied the claims as 'categorically false."

However, he has not starred in a movie or TV show since.

As per People, the actor said at the time: "These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago - no always means no - that is a line I did not cross. It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women."

Noth reprised his role as Mr Big for just one episode of the Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That, before his character, Mr Big, died in the premiere episode.

He was originally supposed to make a return in the finale in a scene with Parker, but it was cut after the allegations came to light.

In a 2022 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Parker said she had not been in contact with Noth since the scandal.

She was asked: "As a producer, what was your reaction?," to which she responded: "I don’t even know if I’m ready to talk about it, but I don’t think … I wasn’t reacting as a producer. I should have worked on this because I’m just … it’s just …"

Tyla has contacted reps for Noth and Parker for comment.
