OK guys, the wait is FINALLY over.

Yep, you heard that right, Sex and the City is at long-last coming to Netflix in just a matter of days now.

I, for one, cannot wait to catch up on all the Carrie and Big drama, cackle over Samantha's razor-sharp wit, nod in agreement with Miranda's pearls of wisdom, moon over Charlotte's iconic outfits - all while indulging in the absolute chaos of New York City.

And now Netflix viewers all saying the same thing as SATC finally drops on the streaming platform at the start of next month (1 April).

HBO

The hit comedy-drama series, which first graced our screens back in 1998 boasts a star-studded cast, including the likes of; Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Chris North - just to name a handful.

Spanning six seasons, the show follows the crazy lives of four women who, despite their very different natures and rollercoaster sex-lives and relationship meltdowns, stick together through the ups and downs and navigate the trials and tribulations of being a woman in the Big Apple.

Originally airing on HBO, it's clear fans of the cult programme are beyond thrilled to hear it's finally making its way over to Netflix.

Many have since rushed to social media to share their excitement to binge-watch the whole thing once again with one X, formerly Twitter, user writing: "I'll be waiting for April 1st for SATC to premiere on Netflix like I have never watched it before."

The hit comedy-drama series will be available to stream on Netflix from 1 April.

A second penned: "SATC coming to Netflix?? Guess I’ll be re-watching!"

"Remembered Sex and the City is gonna be on Netflix next month and I can finally continue watching!" gushed a third, while a fourth chimed in: "SATC COMING TO NETFLIX STFU!"

Another echoed: "I will go missing when Sex and the City drops on Netflix. Me and my college roommate BINGED that show. Great times."

A sixth exclaimed: "Sex and the City coming to Netflix! My life is made!"

"I can’t wait for Sex and the City to come on Netflix!" quipped a seventh, while another added: "Sex and the City coming to Netflix! This is my time to shiiiineee been needing to rewatch so bad my NYC dreams are aching [sic]."

"Me: tries to watch new show on Netflix . Also me: puts on reruns of Sex and the City," joked a final Twitter user.

Very relatable.

All six seasons of Sex and the City will be available to stream on Netflix from the start of next month (1 April).
