After a photograph of her placenta went viral earlier this month, Vick Hope has spoken out.
The BBC Radio 1 presenter welcomed her first child - a beautiful baby boy - with musician hubby Calvin Harris on 20 July.
In the weeks that followed, 41-year-old Harris announced the new addition to their family with an Instagram tribute that sparked quite the stir.

In the caption of a photo dump, the Scottish DJ penned: "20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful.
"We love you so much Micah."
As well as a number of photos showing Harris posing with his newborn, the record producer also shared some snaps of wife Hope is labour.
And even more alarmingly, he shared a pretty gory snap of her placenta.

The organ - which forms in the womb during pregnancy and is 'birthed' after the baby's arrival - could be seen on a damp paper towel in all its glory in one pic, whilst another saw the meat being cooked in what appeared to be a food dehydrator.
Fans were divided at the time, with a number claiming they'd learned of Harris and Hope's son's arrival in a different, more stomach-wrenching way that they'd have expected.
As we say, however, after her placenta pics broke the internet, Hope has since shed some light on her 'powerful' home-birthing experience, whilst sharing a series of sweet new snaps of her newborn.

"Our beloved baby boy Micah Nwosu Wiles completed his journey to us on Sunday 20th July in a beautiful, powerful home birth here in Ibiza, surrounded by love and nature and chickens," the first-time mum penned.

In the photo collection, Hope, 35, could be seen cradling her son against a super aesthetic mediterranean background. Another saw her 'We Found Love' hit-maker beau holding Micah whilst resting on the sofa.
"Emerging from our little newborn bubble to say happy first month Micah, you are magical and we are so utterly besotted with you."

The final photo shared by Hope saw the presenter posing in a birthing tub - the same snap Harris shared in his infamous placenta pics earlier this month, only without the graphic additions.
A horde of new congratulatory messages soon came flooding into the comment section, including from 'Murder On The Dancefloor' chart-topper Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who wrote: "This looks so idyllic and I love the imprint of the afterbirth.

"Congratulations to you all! Welcome, Micah xx."
