Queasy queens, beware.

Following the announcement that Calvin Harris and Vick Hope have welcomed their first child together, the couple's followers have been warned not to check their latest Instagram upload.

For those brave enough to do so, however, many have become embroiled in a passionate post-pregnancy dispute.

If you're out of the loop on the big-name pair's love story, allow us to bring you up to speed. Scottish DJ Harris and radio presenter Hope have been romantically linked since the summer of 2022.

They tied the knot the following September, and in May of this year, the duo revealed they were expecting a baby.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, 41-year-old Harris revealed that his wife, 35, had given birth to a beautiful baby boy named Micah, sharing a 'dump' of photos which began with one of him holding the child.

"20th of July our boy arrived," Harris captioned the collection. "Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful.

"We love you so much Micah."

Naturally, the first people to learn of the couple's new addition are those who follow them on social media. Others, meanwhile, had to learn of their son's arrival in a different, more stomach-wrenching way.

Several Instagram users took to X (formerly Twitter) to issue a warning to the latter group about the announcement, with one writing: "Do NOT checked [sic] calvin Harris's instagram."

Another admitted: "Nothing could've prepared me for what i just saw."

It turns out that, amongst the collection of post labour-pics were several of Hope's placenta - an organ which forms in the womb during pregnancy and is 'birthed' after the baby's arrival.

A second snap showed the meat being cooked in what appeared to be a food dehydrator, while a third showed the organ being turned into iron supplements.

The graphic collection has since sparked quite the debate online, with many hitting out at Harris for not sharing a trigger warning.

One wrote in the comments: "Congrats on the baby but the placenta pics are TMI. Whole, chopped up, or made into pill form. I could do without this info," while another joked: "Should've listened to that tweet."

"A disclaimer about the placenta would've been nice tho!" a third claimed.

Others, however, went on to praise the couple for being so open with their post.

"I thought it was something disgustingly gross since it's Calvin but it was just the birth of a baby and a placenta," one fan said. "You guys can't be serious. Y'all are crying over a placenta and dehydrating it to put them into capsules???? I'm over yall."

Calling people' weak', another added: "B*****s used to publicly share gore videos, but now it's too disgusting when calvin harris wants to post his wife's placenta."

"I have something to say…." a third continued. "The placenta on Calvin Harris's Instagram is NOT a big deal, and the only reason I can fully understand why people would be freaked out is bc of seeing blood… which is valid!!

"But like let's stop being weird about the fact that it's just a placenta!"
