Priscilla Presley has candidly opened up about Elvis' shocking behaviour after she gave birth to their daughter.
The pair, who met when Priscilla was just 14 and Elvis was 24, married in 1967 and it didn't take long for them to discover that she was pregnant with their daughter, Lisa Marie, who sadly passed in 2023.
Throughout the course of their relationship, which came to an end in 1973, Elvis frequently cheated on Priscilla.
However, ironically, he became enraged when she finally left him after having an affair with her karate instructor, Mike Stone, who she met in 1972.

Now, Lisa Marie was the pair's only child together, and she was welcomed to the world in 1968, but after her birth, the 'Hound Dog' singer made it very clear where he stood regarding physical intimacy with his wife and now mother of his child.

Writing in her new memoir titled Softly, As I Leave You, which came out today (23 September), 80-year-old Priscilla shared: "Elvis lost interest in me sexually once Lisa was born."
She also explained that Elvis was 'never able to make love to a woman who’d had a child'.

Despite her attempts to seduce him with sexy lingerie and makeup, 'nothing worked,' according to Priscilla, adding: "Elvis remained flirtatious and very affectionate with me, but that was all."
Elvis was then 'hesitant to have another child', with Priscilla writing: "After all, I had gotten pregnant the first time we made love. His hesitation intensified my fears."

Priscilla, who never remarried after Elvis but went on to have a child with screenwriter Marco Garibaldi in 1987, 10 years after Elvis' death in 1977, previously addressed their sex life in her 1985 book, Elvis and Me, which was the basis for the 2023 Sofia Coppola film, Priscilla.

They finally had sex several months after Lisa Marie’s birth, with Priscilla recalling: "Before we made love, he told me I was a young mother now, that being the mother of his child is very special. But I wrote in my diary, 'I am beginning to doubt my own sexuality as a woman. My physical and emotional needs were unfulfilled.'"
Dealing with the stress of motherhood at the age of 22 along with the loneliness and anxiety over her husband's rejection, Priscilla wrote in her new memoir: "I felt like I was, as the song goes, caught in a trap with no way out.
"Small wonder I became involved in an affair with my karate instructor, Mike Stone."
