Despite music-maker Calvin Harris and radio star Vick Hope welcoming their first child together some days ago now, the couple's baby announcement has since gone viral for a stomach-churning reason.
The big-name pair, who were first linked romantically in 2022 before going on to tie the knot, broke the news that they'd be expecting a new addition to their family back in May of this year.
And despite keeping a rather low profile in the weeks that followed, earlier this week, 41-year-old record producer Harris revealed that Hope, 35, had given birth to a baby boy.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the Scottish DJ shared a 'dump' of photos from his new life as a dad, kicking off with one of him holding his beautiful newborn son. "20th of July our boy arrived," Harris captioned the collection, before revealing the name they've chosen.

"Micah is here!
"My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah."

Naturally, users who followed the duo on Instagram were the first to catch wind of the news and went on to wish them well in the comments.
Others, however, learned of baby Micah's arrival through Twitter, after people were being warned by those who'd seen the rest of Harris' social media snaps.
"Do NOT checked calvin Harris’s instagram," one user warned their followers.
Another continued: "Nothing could've prepared me for what i just saw."

And for what may have been the first time, it seems these social media users were right to issue their dramatic pleas, being that one of the photos in the collection showed Hope's entire placenta in all its glory.
It didn't end there, though.

Another also saw the organ, which forms in the womb during pregnancy and is 'birthed' after baby's arrival, being cooked by the couple in what appears to be a dehydrator before being turned into supplements.

"Should’ve listened to that tweet," one horrified Instagram user penned in the comments.
Another asked: "Anyone else here from twitter?"
"A disclaimer about the placenta would’ve been nice tho!" a third continued.
"So are we pretending to just ignore that lady's guts at the end. Ok," joked another.

Another continued: "Congrats on the baby but the placenta pics are TMI. Whole, chopped up, or made into pill form. I could do without this info."
Other fans, however, were seemingly thrilled to see the organ, which is sometimes consumed following birth due to its richness in iron, being put to good use.

"Love to see the placenta!! amazing we grow a whole new organ to provide life!" fellow musician Becky Hill gushed.
"Good job not wasting it either, that’s some goddess magic right there!"
Another fan went on to say: "Congratulations! Thank you for normalising home birth (and placentas!) with these beautiful pictures. What a dream."
