If fans were hoping for a reconciliation between Brooklyn and Victoria Beckham, they may have to wait a little longer as the Beckham child appears to have nearly erased a tattoo dedicated to his mum.
David and Victoria Beckham’s son spoke publicly about their family feud earlier this year with a bombshell statement that raised plenty of eyebrows.
In his explosive statement, he said: “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.
“I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.

“My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”
Brooklyn reportedly became estranged from his famous mum, dad and siblings following his wedding to Nicola Peltz-Beckham.
He alleged that his parents attempted to derail his wedding, and claimed they tried to pressure him into signing away rights to his name amid what he described as their focus on protecting the ‘Brand Beckham’ image.

Brooklyn, an aspiring chef and former aspiring photographer, has all sorts of tattoos covering his body. Many of them once paid tribute to his family, including a ‘mama's boy’ tattoo on his left pectoral, as well as a large anchor tattoo bearing the word ‘Dad’.
However, a recent shirtless picture shared on Instagram appears to show that the tribute to his mother has now been covered up.
The ‘mama's boy’ lettering has been replaced by a floral bouquet, while another selfie showed that his anchor tribute to David had also been altered, with the ‘Dad’ lettering covered by a number of small shapes.
For now at least, his ‘Brotherhood’ tattoo appears to be staying put. Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz all have matching ink, while his ballerina tattoo, understood to be a tribute to Harper, also appears to remain untouched.

In 2022, the same year he and his wife tied the knot, Brooklyn revealed that he had around 70 tattoos dedicated to his wife, including the word 'married' on the left side of his hand. 'I always love to surprise her with new ink,' he told USA Today.
In his bombshell statement in January, Brooklyn said he has no wish to reconcile with his parents amid the rift and accused his mum of dancing with him 'inappropriately', leaving his wife devastated.
Victoria, also known as Posh Spice, addressed her son's claims in a statement released in April. She said she and David had 'always tried to be the best parents that we can be'.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, she said: “We’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children."
