The Beckham family feud has been reignited following Brooklyn Beckham's latest move.
The 27-year-old shocked fans all over in January when he shared a lengthy statement to Instagram about his family, writing at the time: "I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life."
Brooklyn added that he grew up with 'overwhelming anxiety' and went as far as to allege that his family 'values public promotion and endorsements above all else'.
"Brand Beckham comes first," he wrote at the time.
Advert
Brooklyn has since released a social media video promoting a food delivery service during the World Cup, a tournament in which his dad, David, has played three times.
"You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home…" he says in the DoorDash advert, which dropped Monday (15 June) before laughing: "It’s a long story."
The Sun reports that sources close to David and his wife Victoria aren't too happy over the ad 'attack'.
A source told the outlet: "To do an ad based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated, and sister and grandparents are inconsolable…
"It just seems a tad hypocritical from someone claiming to want peace and privacy and trying to cash in on it all.

"He says he wants nothing to do with his family, but is now trading off them by using one of his footballing father’s legacies – the World Cup – as an advertising selling point.
"Brooklyn is absolutely entitled to go and make his own money – his parents laud such ambition – but taking the mick out of a deep-rooted, heartbreaking family situation is not the one."
The ad was released after a rep for Brooklyn, the eldest of his three siblings, issued a response to his sister Harper, who showed up at his home unannounced to deliver a letter.
During the visit, the 14-year-old was photographed arriving at Brooklyn and Nicola's Beverly Hills property, where she left a letter before leaving. The couple were reportedly in New York at the time.

A representative for Brooklyn and Nicola, 31, claimed Harper's weekend visit was orchestrated for publicity.
Speaking to HELLO!, they said: "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras."
However, per The Sun, a source close to the Beckhams called it 'another untrue and unfair accusation'.
