A restaurant manager who waited on Britney Spears before her alleged 'erratic' driving incident has spoken out to defend the singer.
For those who have no idea what we're talking about, the pop hitmaker, 43, was reportedly filmed swerving dangerously while driving home from a night out on Wednesday (29 October).
As per Page Six, footage showed Britney leaving the Red-O restaurant in Thousand Oaks, California before 'making an erratic U-turn' in her car.
The publication also claimed that she tailgated another car and meandered into other lanes, including a bike lane, during her journey.

However, as we say, the manager of the US-based eatery has since come forward and issued his own version of events, as reported by US Weekly.
General manager Oliver Wynn told the publication: "I was there and attended to Britney and her friend. She was super chill and really nice.

"She was in and out of the restaurant within an hour. She just kind of hung out, grabbed a bite to eat and left."

He confirmed that, despite some reports suggesting otherwise, Britney wasn't intoxicated. She is said to have sat in the restaurant’s lounge and cocktail area, where she enjoyed some food - she 'ordered a quesadilla and no alcohol'.
Wynn added: “Another guest or fan bought her a glass of wine at the bar and brought it over to her table. She was not intoxicated."
He also claimed that she made sure to take the time to speak to and take pictures with a number of fans who spotted her.
“I looked over a lot to make sure Britney was comfortable with taking pictures because if she wasn’t comfortable, I would have made sure it didn’t happen,” he recalled, "Britney was just chatting with her friend and fans the whole time. They were very chatty."

He said the singer was 'so, so sweet to everyone' and even 'thanked the restaurant staff before she left'.
Wynn continued: "I was impressed at how nice she actually was. I worked at other restaurants frequented by a lot of celebrities, and I’ve never really seen a celebrity be as nice as Britney was."

Meanwhile, a separate source also told US Weekly: “She was being followed by a bunch of cars, and their lights were really bright. She was a little overwhelmed and just wanted to get home."

The shocking claims come just after Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline made a series of damning allegations against her in his new memoir - You Thought You Knew.
Britney and Kevin were married between 2004-2007 and welcomed two sons together, Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19.
Some of the bombshell allegations include that the singer would watch their sons sleep with a knife in her hand and breastfeed her children after doing cocaine.
Britney has firmly dismissed the allegations as 'lies'.

She wrote on Twitter: "Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here."
