Hollywood couple Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin have been hit with 'entitled' accusations after Song expressed unhappiness at the way an airline treated them.

The pair was travelling with their young children on an Alaska Airlines flight when their seating arrangement was changed without their prior knowledge or agreement.

Song and Culkin are parents to two young sons, Dakota, 4, and Carson, 3, and Song put the airline on blast on her social media.

The frustrated mum shared how they had booked their first class seats months in advance, but alleged they were 'given away' by the airline to other passengers, separating her fiancé and young children.

Critics were quick to comment, hitting out at the couple and calling them 'out of touch' or 'entitled' if this was their 'only problem'.

She shared the post on Saturday, March 20, and wrote: “I didn’t know when you book your first class tickets 6 months in advance for your family … Alaska Air can just give away your seats the morning of with no warning, splitting up you and your 3 and 4 year old kids."

Song added: "We will never fly Alaska Air ever again, and neither should you," before tagging Culkin.

He supported Song by sharing her post, joking, “Hell hath no fury like a Brenda scorned…”

Some critics hit out at the stars, saying they were 'entitled' or it was 'first world problems' to be complaining about first class, but others have been quick to defend the duo.

"Everyone says people should pay ahead, pay extra, pick your seats to sit with your kids or partner - so then you do - and then this happens. That's not okay!" insisted one.

"Everyone saying 'entitled' is ridiculous. If my toddlers were seated alone by random strangers I wouldn't even take the flight" defended another.

"Yeah that's not okay" echoed another commenter, who added "You book your seats ahead of time and they give your seats away? Airlines do this all the time and it's not ok."

"This is actually valid. First class is much more expensive than economy. You need to get what you pay for," said one.

"So many haters in the comments! First class isn't in my budget but I'm not going to discredit someone's VALID grudge because they didn't get what THEY paid for" pointed out another commenter.

This person agreed: "It's about getting what you paid for, not how one affords it."

According to TMZ a spokesperson for Alaska Airlines told the outlet the incident was 'unacceptable' and did not reflect the company’s standards.

“Traveling can be stressful, especially with young children, and we pride ourselves on being a top airline for traveling families. We are deeply sorry for adding friction to the experience," they added.
