Can you believe it has been ten years since Miranda first galloped onto our screens? There truly hasn't been a more relatable and lovable character on telly since the show last aired back in 2015.

But now, she's finally returning to our screens this Christmas season to celebrate the BBC show's big anniversary - and we've been tantalized with a sneaky first look. SUCH FUN!

Instead of her usual comedy sitcom, Miranda Hart will be back for an unscripted stage show this time around, filmed at the prestigious London Palladium.

Named Miranda: My Such Fun Celebration, the show will look back all the series', screen some behind-the-scenes titbits and, naturally, enforce lots of good old galloping.

Pictures from the stage performance, which has already been filmed, appear to show Miranda singing with a group of backup dancers - and it looks like a right old laugh.

We also see the return of her BFF Stevie (Sarah Hadland), while Miranda has remained coy about whether her love interest Gary (Tom Ellis) will be back to celebrate with her.

There will also be performances galore - naturally (

"Whether my on screen husband Tom Ellis managed to make it over from LA I couldn't possibly tell you - he has been busy filming Lucifer, but maybe he sent a message, maybe he teleported himself - as I say, I couldn't possibly say," she said.

And it sounds like there will be special guests galore too. Both McFly and...wait for it... HEATHER SMALL will be in attendance. It's a truly all-star cast.

Plus, Miranda cryptically added: "There was a certain someone who just had to say "such fun" and I thought the Palladium roof might come down!" Oh Miranda, you tease. We guess we'll have to wait to find out more.

Reflecting on the all singing, all dancing spectacular, Miranda said: "It was a surreal dream come true to perform at the Palladium again, but for a show about my own show - that is something I could never have imagined.

"[The reaction] has been incredibly and surprisingly moving. Some of the messages have moved me to tears in honesty.

"And I think that is because although the show started as something just for big laughs, it has now become relevant on a new level in terms of the pertinence of messages for people suffering from anxiety and depression and illness - the message to accept yourself, that everyone feels out of place, that you don't have to aspire to be a certain way to be loved."

We truly can't wait.

Miranda: A Such Fun Celebration, airs on New Year's Day at 5.45pm on BBC One.
