If, like us, there's been a Miranda-shaped hole in your life since 2015, then boy do we have some exciting news for you.

Remember when we told you she was returning for a one off TV special? Well, we've now have some more information on this monumental event, and it's going to be SUCH FUN.

Arriving at the Royal Palladium later this year, and also screening on the BBC One, Miranda: My Such Fun Celebration will "feature a host of treats and surprises as the cast reunite to look back over a decade of such fun, friendship, romance and everything that made millions of fans connect with this unique and very special sitcom".

It will be made up of, (what I call) nostalgic reflections from the making of the show, behind the scenes titbits, and of course plenty of galloping, joking and silliness - in true Miranda style.

Naturally, Miranda will host the festivities, and invite some of our favourite stars from the series too.

She said: "What happened with my sitcom and comedy alter-ego over the last 10 years has been unexpected to say the least, so it's very moving for me to have the chance to celebrate and thank my cast and the fans from The Palladium stage.

"We are hoping to put together a what I call such fun hour of television for them all."

It is not yet officially known who will return for the one-off show, but fans will be hoping Sarah Hadland, Patricia Hodge and Sally Phillips and Tom Ellis will be joining Miranda for the comeback show.

Charlotte Moore, Director of BBC Content said: "Miranda is one of the great British sitcoms so to celebrate its 10th anniversary, this BBC One special promises an hour of pure unadulterated fun from the home of entertainment itself, The London Palladium."

Miranda first announced her anniversary celebration back in July, taking to her Twitter to share the news.

She wrote: "Hello to you - I am with news. So, in November it will be 10 years since the first episode of Miranda aired. We are 10! And we have decided to have a party.

"The Miranda cast on and off screen are all about play, being free to be ourselves and silliness, so we are amazed and delighted that BBC One have agreed that our celebrations will be recorded as a one hour special later in the year.

"I will keep you posted, but I suspect there might just be some special guests, probably the odd bit of dancing, definitely some drinks and nibbles.

"And you know what I hope it will be - SUCH FUN for us, but more importantly for you, all you lovely friends of the show for whom I shall be forever grateful for your support. See you soon".

Fans were left heartbroken when the beloved series ended on New Year's Day in 2015 after six years on air and viewers have been eager to hear news of any possible revival for the show since.

The comedy series revolved around lovably awkward Miranda, who frequently found herself in hilarious and cringe situations alongside her pals.

Miranda won a Royal Television Society award and gained several BAFTA TV Award nominations.
