If you love Gordon Ramsay's food shows, and better still, would love the opportunity to be on one, then listen up.

The TV chef has announced casting for a brand new food show and he's after "16-21 year olds who are ready to go on an adventure to an international destination".

Gordon made the casting call on behalf of his production company Studio Ramsay, who have also made The F Word, 24 Hours to Hell & Back and Gordon, Gino and Fred, on Twitter last month.

"We're looking for 16-21 year old for a brand new, exciting adventure travel show for a major network," said the 53-year-old in a video.

While he remained secretive about the plot of the upcoming show, he added: "The show will involve some extraordinary challenges in some of the most beautiful countries in the world.

"We're looking for talented young people with a passion for food, adventure and have a strong curiosity to experience and discover new cultures."

Those serious about applying have their work cut out - the application includes a massive 45 questions to answer, ranging from talking through your proudest accomplishments to how you grew up, the most adventurous thing you've done, fears and phobias and your signature dishes.

It's sure to separate the wheat from the chaff, so if you're serious about applying, set aside a decent amount of time and be prepared to wax lyrical about your love of food.

While it doesn't specify which "international destination" lucky winners will be travelling to, the terms and conditions do specify: 'You must be a legal US resident and/or authorised to work in or travel to any filming locations.'

Disclaimer: we can't promise you won't be called an Idiot Sandwich in the process, but we're thinking this opportunity is probably worth the risk?!
