If you've got a Euphoria shaped hole in your life, then fear not, because the second season of the teen drama is officially in production.
It's no secret that the Skins-style US show has developed somewhat of a cult following since it first launched last June, and was promptly renewed just one month later after it first hit screens.

So, teasing all the hardcore fans, its official social media hinted that the next instalment is well and truly on the way, sharing a picture of Zendaya, 23, and Angus Cloud, 25, reading through the new scripts, with the caption: "here we go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".
In the picture, both stars are dressed in casual attire as they flick through script pages together.

So far, we don't have much intel on what to expect from the second season.
Although.... *spoiler alert*.... we can only hope Zendaya's presence means Rue Bennett survived her assumed overdose at the end of the last season.
Plus, could the fact that the Rue and Fezco actors are sat together mean their characters have finally worked out their differences?
We guess we'll just have to wait to find out!
Based on an Israeli series of the same name, the first instalment of the HBO teen drama centred around the troubled life of 17-year-old Rue, a drug addict fresh from rehab with no plans to stay clean.

The troubled teen is joined in her daily battle by a transgender girl called Jules, rage-filled jock Nate, football star Chris, Cassie, whose sexual history continues to follow her; and body-conscious Kat as they struggle with their individual issues in a high-school in Southern California.
The show, which is created by Sam Levinson and produced by rapper Drake, explores dark themes, such as bereavement, slut shaming, addiction and mental illness.
It stars LGBT+ activist Hunter Schafer, Australian actor Jacob Elordi (Zendaya's off-screen boyfriend) and Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane.
The series solidified itself as a talking point since its release in the US with its explicit scenes (including one with 30 penises in it) and fearless quest to approach Gen Z's issues head on.

For UK viewers, it kicked off a month later, landing on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV last August, and people have been begging for a second season ever since.
We don't have an official launch date for the new series yet, but if it's following the same pattern as the last season, it's likely the show will land this summer.
We'll keep you updated as soon as we know more!
