Given the bleakness that has been 2020, it's clear no one is prepared to do Christmas in halves this year.

Instead of wallowing in the uncertain state of the world, people are looking to the positives and revelling in the upcoming festive season a whole two months early.

This year, Christmas joy has gone nuclear with a Christmas movie channel that plays 24/7 festive films already here as well as a Christmas radio station blaring back-to-back Christmas songs.

And as if you weren't already covered with those two, a channel which plays non-stop Christmas music videos is arriving soon.

Of course, Mariah will be playing (

Launched on Thursday 1st October, Trace Xmas will play 24/7 Christmas anthems for the next three months straight. Yes, Bublé and his royalties are about to be LAUGHING.

"In a bid to lift the country's spirits, Trace TV is bringing Christmas to viewers' homes early this year with the launch of Trace Xmas, the fresh new music channel dedicated entirely to Christmas," says Trace.

"With many people back to working from home and in tighter lockdown restrictions, now is the perfect time for the sleigh bells to ring all over the UK."

Little Mix will feature too (

Landing on Sky Channel 364, Trace Xmas will apparently feature a "blend of classic Christmas hits" - from the likes of Mariah Carey, to Wham and Destiny's Child - and "the newest seasonal tracks" courtesy of Ariana Grande, Little Mix, John Legend and more.

On top of that, there will be exclusive celebrity takeovers and the promise of "a sack load of festive content". Sign. Us. Up.

Anthony and Duncan from Blue, Tulisa, Ella Eyre and many more famous faces will be taking to the tele to pick their favourite Christmas anthems and have a festive-themed chinwag.

There will also be celebrity takeovers and interviews (

Olivier Laouchez, Co-founder, Chairman & CEO, Trace TV, says: "It's never too early to spread the Christmas joy, and we think even the most anti-Christmas grinches will be happy to see the festivities arrive early this year.

"It's been a challenging year and so we wanted to reinvent our offering and bring the very best Yuletide content to homes across the UK."

Hear hear to that.

You can find Trace TV on Sky Channel 364.
