A 24-hour Christmas radio station has launched in the UK.

Yep, it’s time to start hearing Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé’s big festive bangers on the airwaves – even if you think it’s too early.

It may only be September but Heart radio brought back Heart Xmas last Friday (22 September) packed with crimbo tunes.

You read that right, it launched a whole 94 days before the big day on 25 December.

That’s the earliest Heart Xmas has ever been live - over three months before Christmas Day.

The station has run yearly since 2016 and ‘promises to bring listeners the ultimate festive soundtrack with all the best hits as the countdown has officially begun’.

All hail the Christmas queen.

And it won’t just be the old classics like Wham! and Wizzard, but apparently ‘more recent and upbeat Christmas songs’ too.

So if you are wanting to actually kick start festive mode this early, you can download the Global Player app and listen live. And it’ll also be available on digital radio across the UK so you can drive along to ‘Driving Home for Christmas’ months in advance.

Or, you know, just drive along regular Mariah bops until Halloween is at least out the way.
