Louis Theroux Would Choose Justin Theroux To Play Him In A Movie Of His Life

It goes without saying that Louis Theroux is a living legend who has amassed an impressive cult following over the last three decades.

Despite being an incredibly successful filmmaker himself, it's highly plausible that one day a film could be made to document the life of the 48-year-old.

But given that Louis makes documentaries and not Hollywood movies, he'd obviously have to choose someone to play himself and he's now revealed he has already carefully selected someone for the role.

Luckily for Louis, he has so many talented people in his life and particularly in his family, from novelist father, Paul Theroux and travel writer brother, Marcel Theroux to his cousin, American actor Justin Theroux.

As luck would have it, Louis told the Guardian that he'd choose his cousin Justin to play him in a movie of himself.

It's actually no wonder Louis would opt for someone else to play him in a movie of his life, as it turns out he's not too keen on his own appearance - although we can't for the life of us work out why.

When asked what he disliked about the way he looks, Louis told the Guardian: "My face. What's wrong with it? What's right with it?"

Although, it's not entirely surprising that he might have a complex about his appearance after he revealed the worst thing anyone's ever said to him.

"When my granny got dementia, she looked at me and my brother and said, 'One of you is very good looking and the other is not very good looking, but I won't tell you which is which.' I was pretty sure I was the not good looking one."

Despite this, Louis is understandably proud of how his career has progressed, considering his nervous nature and the fact he claims to be 'incapable of doing a piece to camera.'

We think you're doing just fine, Louis.
