Stacey Solomon Admits She Felt 'Insecure' Getting Back Into A Bikini After Birth

Stacey Solomon has opened up about feeling "insecure" after wearing a bikini for the first time since welcoming her baby daughter Rose last year.
The Loose Women panelist, 32 shared a snap of herself wearing a bikini alongside Rose, four months, at a swimming pool.

She recounted Rose’s very first time in the pool and joked that there were times when she “wasn’t too pleased with the water”.
Later in the caption, Stacey admitted to feeling “a little bit insecure” about her body when she was getting ready for the mother and daughter swimming session.
The mum-of-four wrote: “Rose’s first swims. She loved it so much. Although there were definitely moments when it looked like she wasn’t too pleased with the water the way she was splashing it.
“I forgot how magical those first swims are, even though it feels like yesterday we were taking Rex for his first swim now he’s cannon balling in. Happy Thursday Everyone.
“P.S I had a little moment getting ready for swimming where I felt a little bit insecure. Then I remembered how grateful I am that my body has grown the loves of my life.
“For anyone else who hears that mean little voice from time to time. Tell it to get lost and be quiet because it’s lying. You’re so beautiful and your body is incredible. No matter what some of the things we see will lead us to believe”.
Women in the comments flooded Stacey’s page with compliments and thanked her for being a good influence for women and young girls.

Another mum declared: “You are a great role model”.
A third added: “The role model we all need”.

One Instagram user wrote: “Aww that a beautiful photo and just look at her smile, Stacey you look bloody gorgeous and you show us all that it’s ok to be ourselves and not how we think we should be from the pictures in magazines. Mums also shared their own experiences with feeling insecure after having a baby and thanked Stacey for being open and encouraging for her followers.
“Your caption [is] right,” said one mum. “I took my daughter swimming yesterday, I felt the exact same but then I remember that my body has grown my two beautiful girls & for that I am so grateful”.
After her followers left their uplifting comments and responses, Stacey replied in the comments, writing: “This is the sweetest thread of comments. love you all so much”.
