Kate Praised For Response To Prince Louis 'Shushing' Her During Jubilee Pageant

Kate Praised For Response To Prince Louis 'Shushing' Her During Jubilee Pageant

We've all been there, Kate!

Royal fans are sympathising with the Duchess of Cambridge after her heroic attempts to get Prince Louis to sit still during Sunday's festivities.

Four-year-old Louis had a hilarious reaction to the Platinum Pageant which wrapped up the Jubilee weekend celebrations.

The youngest of the Cambridges had to be watched over with a close eye when he grew impatient over the event, and could even be seen covering his mum's mouth at one point.

Watch here:

While his older brother and sister, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were on their best behaviour beside Prince William in the royal box, Prince Louis had onlookers in stitches with his cheeky antics.

Between pulling faces and blowing raspberries, and covering his Kate Middleton's mouth with his hand, the four-year-old had understandably grown restless as the long weekend came to a close.

Later on in the pageant, he was seen climbing out of his seat to go and sit on his grandfather Prince Charles's lap.

Most viewers who caught Louis's poor manners on camera admitted they were grateful to see the young prince acting his age in the public eye.

Commenting on a Reddit post about Prince Louis's misbehaviour, one viewer wrote "Looks like the behaviour of a normal 4 year old to me…"

Another royal fan added: "I’ve had a really tough day with my 4 year old. This has made me feel a lot better and not like I’m a failed parent!"

Meanwhile, a third concurred: "I’ve got a 3 year old like that, glad it’s not just me."

A fourth viewer pointed out that the clip reminded them of a "young Harry being cheeky in front of the paparazzi and Diana trying to manage him while keeping a smile on her face" adding: "Massive respect to Mothers in the public eye."

And a fifth wrote: "I'm happy to see him playing up; it gives me hope that his parents allow him to be a child and don't expect him to act like a little soldier."

Elsewhere over the weekend, Prince Louis completely stole the spotlight, when he had an adorable reaction to the Jubilee flypast.

The working Royals gathered to watch the impressive flypast of helicopters and planes forming the number 70 in the sky.

But in one hilarious moment, little Louis can be seen covering his ears from the loud noise of the planes overhead.

The youngest Cambridge tot could also be seen jumping up and down in excitement, before waving towards the sky as he stood next to his great grandmother.

At one point, Kate, 40, could be seen whispering in Louis' ear, before the royal gazed up towards the planes once again.

Sunday's Platinum Jubilee Pageant marked the end of the monumental Jubilee weekend, marking the Queen's 70-year reign.

Although the Queen ended up staying home for a selection of jubilee events over the four-day weekend, she made a final appearance from the Buckingham Palace balcony to greet the crowds as celebrations came to a close on Sunday evening.
