Nick Cannon has claimed that, despite being father to 12 children by six different women, he's been using birth control.

Insisting that he must have 'super sperm', Cannon, 42, said that even when he 'practiced birth control, he somehow gets women pregnant.

It sounds like something isn't adding up here - but that's the story he's sticking to.

Nick, 42, spoke about his so-called 'super sperm' on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast.

"I'm gonna be honest," he told Howie.

"I got some super sperm or something, 'cause I've practiced birth control, and people still got pregnant."

What exactly that birth control method was, Nick didn't say.

It's especially hard to tell where the dad of 12's head is at since, in a previous interview, he suggested he doesn't wear condoms.

It was a 2017 interview with Howard Stern when Cannon opened up about his near-death experience after his lupus diagnosis.

"I don’t fear it, I welcome it! I got to a space now where [I can say] I’m probably gonna die sooner than most people," he said at the time.

"I mean, that’s what the doctor said… But I’m living life like ‘F***, I might die in the morning, so let’s f*** all night! So why wear condoms? I might not be here tomorrow!"

Howie Mandel also asked Nick the question that everyone asks him when given the chance: is he finished having kids?

"I guess... yeah?" answered Nick.

"I don't wanna say yeah and then, like, you know, it's the reproductive system. It could happen at any time. I'm good with my dozen."

He doesn't sound so sure.

"I'm trying to be as responsible as I possibly can," he added.

Nick shares his eldest two children, 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.

Then, with model Brittany Bell he welcomed son and daughter Golden, 6, and Powerful Queen, 2.

Nick and Abby De La Rosa then welcomed twin sons Zion and Zillion, 1.

The Wild 'N Out host subsequently had son Zen with Alyssa Scott - though Zen tragically died from brain cancer in 2021 - and son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi.

Between September and December 2022, Nick welcomed his four youngest children.

First there was his daughter Onyx with LaNisha Cole, then his son Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell.

A month later, Nick welcomed Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon with Abby De La Rosa, and finally, in December, Alyssa Scott gave birth to his youngest, Halo Marie Cannon.
