Nick Cannon says having so many children is putting a strain on his dating life

Nick Cannon struggles to have much of a dating life due to his huge offspring.

Unsurprisingly, Nick Cannon has admitted that having so many kids means that he finds it rather difficult in the dating scene.

To be honest, the dating scene is tricky enough even without kids, but when you add enough kids to make an 11-a-side football team to the mix, it surely becomes impossible.

For those not in the know, The Masked Singer host has had 12 children in his time with six different women.

He is the dad to 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with Mariah Carey, while he also shares Rise, six months old, Powerful Queen, two and Golden, six, with Brittany Bell.

But it certainly doesn't stop there, as he co-parents with Abby De La Rosa for Beautiful, four months, and Zion and Zillion, both one.

With Alyssa Scott, he is also father to Halo, three months old, and the late Zen - who tragically died in December 2021.

Completing the list is Legendary Love, eight months, plus Bre Tiesi and Onyx, six months, with LaNisha Cole.

Obviously, having that many kids would put a strain on anyones social and dating life, which Cannon opened up on The Howard Stern Show on Monday (10 April).

He said: "I'm not out there like that. I'm really trying to focus on myself and my children… my bandwidth doesn't even allow me to kind of be in that space."

The TV presenter then went on to say that he maintains a 'healthy balance', adding: "It sounds wild, but my main focus is either my children or work."

Cannon then went on to discuss his decision in 2021 to be celibate, which actually did the opposite, as he actually welcomed more kids.

"One therapist told me I should be celibate — that didn't work, I had like more kids after that," he joked.

On the US talkshow, Cannon was also pushed on whether he would have more kids, which he certainly was not ruling out.

He did say that he would be all in for starting a family with Taylor Swift, who has been in the news over the Easter weekend with reports she has split up with long-time partner Joe Alwyn.

Speaking on the potential of having children with the Midnights singer, Cannon said: "I'm all in. First of all, she's an amazing songwriter.

"What I do love about Taylor Swift is that she has been so vulnerable and open with all of her music.

"Me and Taylor’s numbers are very similar when we’re talking about being in these streets. So, I think she would relate to me very well."
