The 1975's Matty Healy brings fan on stage to get a tattoo

The 1975's Matty Healy brings fan on stage to get a tattoo

This girl is really out here living everyone else's dream.

The 1975's Matty Healy is single-handedly proving that your fan-fiction fantasies really could come true.

In the latest stunt from the band's chaotic Being Funny In A Foreign Language tour, the lead singer brought a fan up on stage so he could draw her next tattoo for her - before bringing out a tattoo artist from backstage to get the fan inked then and there.

Check out the sweet moment here:

At the band's Newport, Kentucky show, Matty spotted a fan near the front row who was holding up a sign that read: "Will you draw my [square] tattoo?" - referring to The 1975's signature logo.

Before launching into the next song on the set list, Matty escorted the lucky fan up on stage and pulled her in for an adorable bear hug.

Taking her sign and a felt-tip pen, Matty brought the visibly shook fan to sit down on the stage with him while he drew the tattoo for her.

The crowd can be heard cheering and screaming while the fan appears to tell Matty: "I'm so happy, I'm so happy."

When he finishes his drawing, Matty begins his next song, and beckons out a tattoo artist who just so happened to be sitting backstage, so that this fan could get her new ink right away.

Needless to say, it wasn't long before videos from the show went viral, and fans from around the globe fell even more in love with Denise Welch's charming son.

"Nah his thumb rubbing her shoulder I'm in TEARS," confessed one viewer.

"My FYP is flooded with this content and I love it, makes me so much more of a fan," commented a second.

"This is it. This confirmed that I am in fact in love with Matty Healy," added a third.

And a fourth swooned: "If this isn't just the sweetest thing to happen at a concert, I don't know what is."

The tattoo artist herself even joined in on the conversation, explaining how it all came to be.

"Hi! I've been tattooing them for about 5/6 years now," shared B The Tattooer (@bonesawbee) on TikTok.

"They had me come to this show, and I'd been tattooing them all day."

She went on to reveal that she had originally been there to give Matty a tattoo on stage, but was called back out unexpectedly when Matty spotted the fan's sign.

Yes, that's right. Matty also got a tattoo on stage that night.

The eccentric frontman went for something a little bolder than his fan's simple square.

Fans watched on in shock that night as B gave Matty a tattoo that simply read: 'I'm A Man'.

The band are taking a break from touring for the Christmas break, but will get straight back on the road in the new year, starting off with a number of UK dates before they jet off to South America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
