Kim Woodburn has launched a scathing attack on Holly Willoughby after the presenter returned to This Morning.

Willoughby had taken a break from the iconic daytime show following the sudden departure of Phillip Schofield.

While the 42-year-old acknowledged the ongoing scandal, her statement has divided viewers with Woodburn claiming the TV host should be fired.

During Monday's (5 June) episode of This Morning, Willoughby addressed Schofield's affair, saying said that she felt ‘shaken’ and ‘let down’ as she tried to reassure viewers.

She told viewers: “It feels very strange sitting here without Phil and I imagine you might be feeling a lot like I have - shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what's been going on, and full of questions."

Continuing, Willoughby added: "You, me and everyone gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth - who acted in a way that they themselves felt that they had to resign from ITV and step down from a career that they loved. That is a lot to process."

Her statement came less than two weeks after her longtime co-presenter and friend Schofield revealed he’d had an affair with a younger male colleague during his time on the show.

The segment has divided the nation, with some viewers arguing that the daytime presenter is trying her best under the difficult circumstances.

Meanwhile, others have lashed out at Willoughby and claimed she 'wasn’t genuine' because of her lack of emotional response.

It’s led to several celebs also taking aim at the TV presenter - including Kim Woodburn.

Appearing on the GB News, Woodburn took aim at Willoughby, branding her a ‘two-faced-horror’.

During the tense interview, the 81-year-old was also asked whether she thought Willoughby was being genuine - to which, she replied: “Absolutely not, she’s one little b****."

As the segment continued, the How Clean Is Your House star argued that the This Morning host should also lose her job.

“Why did she have to mention that he told lies? It’s been done and said, he’s lost his job,” Woodburn said. “Why is she rubbing it in? She should be fired.”

Woodburn also revealed that she'd been frustrated with Willoughby during a previous appearance on This Morning.

“Look, I’ve worked with Holly, I’ve been on the sofa with them three or four times,” she added. "I never liked the way she behaved, and I never liked the way she opted out of everything - I couldn’t stand it.”
