Kim Kardashian reduced to tears as she admits how hard it is co-parenting with Kanye West

She said she does all she can to protect her children

Kim Kardashian became emotional as she spoke about the difficulties of co-parenting with ex Kanye West, admitting that it’s ‘really f***ing hard’.

The reality star has four children with West - North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three - and the pair share custody.

Speaking on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast, Kardashian said she will do anything to protect her children and try and give them a normal upbringing, despite growing up in the public eye.

She said: "I'll do anything to keep their life as normal as possible.”

Kardashian also revealed that although their divorce is finalised, she is still protecting her children by not telling them things that are going on in the ‘outside world’.

"I definitely protected him and I still will in the eyes of my kids, for my kids,” she said.

"So, in my home, my kids don't know anything that goes on in the outside world."

Kardashian added: "I had the best dad and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that's all I want for my kids. As long as they can have that, that's what I would want for them, you know.

“So like if they don't know things that are being said or what's happening in the world like why would I ever bring that energy to them. You know, that's like real heavy, heavy grown up s**t. That they are not ready to, like, deal with.

“And when they are we will have those conversations and I'll be so prepared but until then I will do anything to keep their life as normal as possible.”

The 42-year-old also said she believes that ‘one day’ her kids will thank her for ‘not bashing their dad’.

The SKIMS founder also explained how she will put on a brave face for her kids but will ‘have a good cry’ in private.

She said: "If we are riding to school, and they want to listen to their dad's music — no matter what we are going through — I have to have that smile on my face and blast his music and sing along with my kids. [I can] act like nothing is wrong and as soon as I drop them off, I can have a good cry."

In their divorce settlement, Kardashian is to receive $200,000 a month in child support - and they will equally split the cost of the children's medical, educational, and security expenses.
