Love Island's Jess Shears Criticises 'Gross Men' For 'Sleazy' Comments On Breastfeeding Snap

Love Island's Jess Shears Criticises 'Gross Men' For 'Sleazy' Comments On Breastfeeding Snap

This is not OK.

Former Love Island star Jess Shears has criticised 'gross men' for commenting on a recent breastfeeding snap.

Jess, 29, welcomed her second baby boy last month with husband Dom Lever, whom she met on the show back in 2017.

Jess shared the post on Instagram.

Taking to Instagram this week to share a breastfeeding snap, Jess wrote: "Getting ready now takes 1000000x longer," as she stood on the stairs feeding her little one.

But in an Instagram Story later, Jess admitted she was disgusted at some of the comments she had received from 'gross men' after she shared the snap.

She wrote: "Why must gross men comment inappropriate things on images of women breastfeeding.

"It's actually disgusting. It's such a beautiful incredible thing that women's bodies can do and you should be able to post about it without getting gross sleazy comments."

Jess took to her Stories to criticise the 'gross men'.

In a separate post, she added: "Cue the DMs saying you shouldn't post about it if you don't want people to comment."

Friends and followers rushed to the photo to post supportive comments, with one person writing: "You look amazing!"

While another said: "Incredible woman."

And a third added: "Love breastfeeding posts... actual real life."

Meanwhile a fourth commented: "Women are incredible!!!"

Jess and Dom announced they had welcomed their second child last month with a post on Instagram of their eldest son, Presley, cradling their new arrival.

"Feeling blessed... a family of four @domlever," wrote Jess.

Meanwhile Dom added on his own social media: "Baby we did it AGAIN!!"

The couple announced the news on social media.

The couple hit it off when they met in the villa during the 2017 series of the show.

Although their villa romance was cut short when Jess was dumped before Dom, the pair have been inseparable ever since they reunited on the outside.

They were engaged three months later and married the following year.

Jess and Dom are one of only a few Love Island couples to have married, with others including Alex and Olivia Bowen - who recently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy - and Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey.

Cara and Nathan also have two children, while Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt also tied the knot after meeting on the show, with Camilla welcoming the couple's second child in May this year.

Elsewhere in Love Island news, it was announced earlier this week that last year's winners, Millie Court and Liam Reardon, had split.
