It really isn’t a rarity for Love Island UK contestants to have famous family ties, with Casa Amor bombshell Jordan Wilson being the latest to join the elite pantheon.

Last Sunday (28 June), six new male bombshells entered the Majorca Love Island villa, including Tommy Stagg, a semi-professional footballer, and basketball star Aaron Badibo from East London.

Joining them in hopes of coupling up with one of the female contestants and cementing their place on week five of Love Island series 13 is Jordon Wilson, a 28-year-old video editor.

The latest contestant on the reality TV show hails from Surrey and has already tried to make an impression with the likes of Jasmine Müller, who is currently coupled up with Kavan Murphy, and Mica Harris, whose aunt is the current Prime Minister of Barbados.

The latter is also related to the late actress Eva Mottley, who would have been Mica’s first cousin once removed.

And it seems as if Wilson has famous familial connections of his own, as revealed by Capital FM.

The outlet wrote that the 6ft 3” competitor is part of The Wilson Family, a family of vloggers who boast almost five million subscribers.

And Jordon's younger sister is actually Tiana Wilson, 18, a YouTuber who became known in her younger years for her toy-based channel, where she would bring in thousands of views with her unboxing and review videos.

While the Wilson Family's channel mainly features Tiana and her parents, Jordon has also appeared a few times over the years.

Reacting to Jordon's unexpected family connection, one X user wrote: "The fact that Tiana Wilson's brother Jordan is on Love Island just baffles me #loveisland."

While a second added: "JORDON WILSON AS IN TIANA'S BROTHER."

And a third exclaimed, "Right is no one talking about Tiana's brother ON LOVE ISLAND."

"Nahhh, I'm dead, Tiana Wilson's brother," wrote a fourth, as a fifth penned: "@tianawilson the way I shouted at the screen when I saw him."

Halle Brown’s famous parents

And Wilson isn’t the only series 13 cast member to have famous parents, with former bombshell Halle Brown also fitting the bill.

The Cheshire dancer, who entered on Day 14 and was dumped from the Island four days later, can count former England international footballer Wes Brown and *Real Housewives of Cheshire*’s Leanne Brown as her mother.

The latter, who was cast as one of the original six main cast members on the reality TV show, divorced from her husband before Christmas 2021, as per a report in The Sun.

“There were no third parties involved; it is just a sad fact that their marriage has run its course,” a source said at the time. “Leanne has flourished in single life and has removed her wedding ring.

“She has told people she feels free and is working hard on her businesses and flourishing as an independent woman.”

Meanwhile, Brown, considered a Manchester United legend, has five Premier League wins under his belt.

In addition, he picked up the FA Cup twice, was named the Jimmy Murphy Academy Player of the Year two times in his youth, and was the Football League Cup runner-up in the 2013/14 season with Sunderland.

Following his retirement from the beautiful game in July 2018, Brown continues to work with Manchester United and is set to coach football at the stunning Aphrodite Hills Resort in Cyrpus this summer.

Love Island ‘nepo babies’

Wilson and Brown are just two Love Island contestants who have famous family connections. In fact, there's been a whole host of others over the years, here are some of the biggest...

Dani Dyer - season four (2018)

Perhaps the most obvious of them all is Dani Dyer, whose dad is - you’ve guessed it - Danny Dyer.

The actor initially said he ‘didn’t want’ his daughter to go on the dating show. Speaking on an evening version of Good Morning Britain in 2018, he explained: “I did struggle at first, it was difficult.

“But as it's gone on, I think what she's done is she's proved with this reality TV thing that actually you can be a decent girl, with self-respect, dignity, not be rolling under the bedsheets, still have respect off the man and be loved and adored by young people.”

While Dani ended up winning series four of Love Island with Jack Fincham, the pair ultimately went their separate ways. She’s now married to West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen - who Danny is a huge fan of since he supports the team.

Tommy Fury - season five (2019)

Not long after rocking up to the villa in 2019, Tommy revealed he was a professional boxer, which led to some Islanders putting two and two together and working out his famous background.

Tommy is the younger half-brother of heavyweight boxing champ Tyson Fury.

At first, Tyson was sceptical about Tommy’s decision to enter the world of reality TV, as he told Metro in 2023: “At the time he was just turned professional and I thought he’s gonna take 18 months to a year – like he did – away from his boxing career. And I wanted him to be a professional boxer, which he was.”

However, as fans will know, Tommy and Molly-Mae Hague went on to become one of the most successful couples in Love Island history, getting engaged and welcoming two children together while succeeding in their respective careers.

Tyson added: “Well, it turned out to be, it was the best thing that could have happened to him because now he’s a professional boxer, but he’s also doing the influencing in boxing and all that.”

Belle Hassan - season five (2019)

Belle is the daughter of actor Tamer Hassan, who is best known for starring in the likes of Snatch, The Football Factory, and even Game of Thrones.

Speaking to The Sun in 2019, Tammer revealed he told Belle before she entered the villa: “Listen, be yourself but I am watching every move, remember who your dad is and do the right stuff.”

She ended up being dumped alongside her partner, Anton Danyluk, a day before the 2019 final. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be as the two split just weeks after the show finished.

Jack Keating - season eight (2022)

Jack entered Casa Amor as a bombshell in the 2022 series and was quick to bond with fellow Islander Gemma Owen over their famous fathers.

Jack is the son of Boyzone singer Ronan Keating - who confessed he was ‘nervous as hell’ over his son appearing on the show.

In an interview with the Daily Mail in 2022, the star added: “When I saw him walk into the villa my heart was beating out of my chest.

“I'm excited for him though, this is something he wanted to do, and I'll always support him and all my kids in their endeavours.”

Unfortunately, Jack was dumped just days later after failing to make a connection. He returned for a second stint for the 2026 All Stars series and, despite striking up a romance with Sher Suarez, they split after leaving the show.

Gemma Owen - season eight (2022)

Gemma is the daughter of ex-footballer Michael Owen, who played for the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United, as well as the England national team. However, during her time in the Love Island villa in 2022, Gemma kept her dad’s identity relatively quiet.

Opening up about his daughter’s decision to go on the show, Michael told OK! In 2023: “I wasn’t that keen.

“But I knew as soon as she said, ‘You know what, I’m probably favouring doing it,’ that she wouldn’t bring shame to me or the family, or anything like that, as she’s bombproof.”

She finished Love Island as a runner-up alongside Luca Bish, though they split just months after.
