Jennifer Lopez mocks husband Ben Affleck for looking miserable

The actor recently became a meme after looking less than impressed at the Grammys, and J.Lo decided to join in with the fun

Jennifer Lopez has promoted her husband Ben Affleck's latest film - while simultaneously poking fun at him.

Affleck recently became a meme after looking less than impressed at the 2023 Grammy Awards, and J.Lo has decided to get involved with the social media mockery.

The singer and actor posted the trailer for Air, directed by and starring Affleck.

But unlike the official trailer, Lopez opened with a still image of Affleck as his character Phil Knight, glowering intensely, alongside a caption that read: "My husband's happy face."

People absolutely loved the cheeky swipe from J.Lo, which has been liked almost half a million times on Instagram - so no doubt her hubby won't mind that kind of publicity for his film.

Commenting on the post, one person wrote: "'my husband's happy face' absolutely love your humour you are amazing also this looks fire such great actors."

Another said: "Jennifer! We love you and your 'happy face' husband! Can't wait to see @airmovie."

A third added: "no you didn't AHAHAHAHA i absolutely can't with you LMAOOOO (can't wait for the movie either obvs! oscar buzz incoming me thinks)"

The stars were engaged in November 2002 and due to tie the knot the following September, but their engagement was called off in January 2004.

In 2021, after separating from their previous partners, the couple announced they were back together and they finally married last July.

Their appearance together at the Grammys attracted a lot of attention, largely due to Affleck's glum expression during the awards ceremony.

And according to a nearby seat-filler, Lopez told him at the time that he was going viral.

TikToker @almostannna - who was one of the seat-fillers at the event - claims she was sat right by the recently reunited couple, and she lifted the lid on the conversations she earwigged on.

In a video shared on the platform, she said: "I sat next to Ben Affleck at the Grammys. Me and my seat-filler friend Jake, and Ben Affleck was right there.

"I was next to them for a good bit, that was my favourite seat because I was right in front of Beyonce...

"So I didn't know the meme about Ben Affleck being upset at awards shows, like I didn't know that was a thing, and we also didn't talk to them because Ben Affleck didn't look happy so I didn't want to talk to him and be like, 'Oh my God, Good Will Hunting is one of my favourite movies! You're my hero!'"

She went on: "I was just so lucky to be next to them! The whole time they were cute and s**t... J.Lo showed Ben Affleck the phone and was like, 'Oh my God, honey, look at this meme circulating about you!'

"And he was like, 'Oh God, this again'. Like, he knew during the performance that he was a meme.

'Like, he knew, and he also chose just not to change his expression. Like, I love how unbothered he is.

"So I know that she was like on her phone and saw it and was like, 'Honey, this is so funny, look at this.' And he was like, 'Jesus Christ.'"
