Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have announced they are expecting their second child in a heartwarming post on Instagram.
The acting pair, who share five-year-old daughter Bodhi Soleil, have now revealed that another child is on the way.
The Twilight actor took to her official Instagram account to announce to her nearly four million followers that she was expecting.

Alongside a photo of herself holding Bodhi Soleil with her bump clearly visible, Reed wrote: "2023 celebrating life.

"As all of you know, I have very strong boundaries with social media, especially when it comes to children and what I choose to put out into the world.

The Vampire Diaries star also took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, with his post accompanying a lengthy statement alongside the same photo that Nikki posted on her social media.
He wrote: "All I’ve ever wanted from the time I was a young boy was to have a big family.

On Nikki's post, actor Emilie de Ravin wrote: "Such wonderful news! Congrats beautiful mama."

And the expectant couple even got a congrats from the official Facebook Instagram account, who wrote on Ian's post: "Sending all the good vibes for your baby salvatore."
And a fan of the couple commented: "Omg another baby salvatore."
The pair first began dating in mid-2014 and announced their engagement in February 2015. They were later married in Malibu, California on April 26, 2015.
Ian and Nikki did not announce any further details surrounding the baby's due date.
