Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner has broken her silence following her boyfriend’s accident.
Her boyfriend Nat was hospitalised for life-threatening injuries following a car accident in Halton, Leeds in March.
Nat suffered a broken neck and a punctured lung and was initially on life-support following the accident which occurred on 18th March 2022.
Since then, Ellie has been by his side while he remains in intensive care, and has not appeared on the Channel 4 series since.
Ellie took to her Facebook page to tell family, friends and fans that she wants to raise money for Headway, the brain injury association.
"For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Headway - the brain injury association. I've chosen this charity because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope that you'll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me.
"Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I've included information about Headway - the brain injury association below,” she wrote.
"Headway's mission is to promote the understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide vital information, support and services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers."
Ellie has raised £1,315 so far, exceeding her £150 target she aimed to raise, having posted a link to the charity’s site.
The reality star has reportedly been supported by staff and Gogglebox bosses, who have been said to tell her to take her time.
Ellie and her on-screen sidekick Izzi made their debut on the show in 2015, joining the cast in season six.
