Cindy Crawford has spoken out about her son Presley’s death.
The supermodel posted a black-and-white photo tribute on Instagram on 18 October.
In the caption, she wrote: “We are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother. We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years.
"He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain. Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia 🪽."

Cindy also thanked photographer Sebastian Faena 'for capturing this beautiful image'.
Presley died on 20 September in a rehab facility of a 'suspected overdose' according to the Santa Monica Police Department. The family, which includes Cindy, dad Rande Gerber and Presley's younger sister Kaia, had asked for privacy at the time.

Presley, who was born on 2 July 1999, was a model like his mother and sister, making his debut for the Italian label Moschino at just 16.
Over the years, he has been open on social media about his mental health challenges and drug use.
He began an Instagram series called ‘Mental Health Mondays,’ and wrote in November 2025: “It’s been a minute since I’ve posted - I had to take a step back and take care of my own mental health for a bit. But I’m coming back soon - stronger, clearer, more intentional than ever.
“When I started Mental Health Mondays, the goal was to spark real conversations about the stuff most people hide. It’s been incredible seeing how far that message has spread and how many people it’s helped.”
Kaia, who was deeply close with her brother, posted a tribute of her own (above) shortly after her mother's, calling him 'my best buddy, my great protector, the hardest I've ever laughed and the one true love of my life'.
"You know how much i loved being your sister. it has always been, and will forever be, my favorite thing about myself. i came into this world with a white-knuckle grip around you. i had more love for you than i knew what to do with," she wrote.
She added in the caption: "i love you the bluest, to the moon and back and back again, forever big brother."
Kaia previously spoke out about her brother’s ‘decade-long’ addiction struggles in the September 2026 issue of Vogue, speaking about how his openness inspired their family.
"When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone. “I think that's also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help."
