Britney Spears' husband Sam Asghari has responded to reports she caused a scene at a restaurant over the weekend.
The couple went out for a meal at an L.A. restaurant where the iconic popstar reportedly became distressed when customers started taking pictures of her.
Eyewitnesses at the restaurant in Woodland Hills, California, claimed that the Grammy award-winning artist, 41, became visibly upset and started 'yelling' and speaking 'gibberish', TMZ reports.

Fitness model and actor Sam is said to have become 'visibly upset' by the incident and ‘abruptly stood up and stormed out the door’.
However Sam, 28, is now setting the record straight, saying his wife feels 'disrespected' when she is filmed when out and about.
A TMZ cameraman caught up with Sam and questioned him about the restaurant incident.
The cameraman asked: "How are you and Britney? The other night, we saw the video from the restaurant, what happened? Can you elaborate a little bit?"

Sam replied: "People get a little too excited to see my wife, so everybody’s filming and doing their thing, but you know how it is… fame comes with the territory and I went to get the car to get the hell out of there and people just thought I left!’
Sam reassured Britney's concerned fan base that he didn't leave her and explained: "But that didn’t happen. It is what it is, man."
"Was she just getting frustrated because, everywhere she goes, someone has a camera?" the reporter asked.

"Yeah, she was frustrated," Sam replied. "Absolutely frustrating."
"It’s kind of, like, she felt disrespected," the cameraman suggested, to which Sam responded: "Yeah."
"When you sit down to have a meal and people get their cameras out and start filming you, it’s disrespectful," he shared.
"But, you know what it is, it comes with the territory and that’s it!"

The 'Baby One More Time' singer hasn't directly responded to the incident, but she did post a cryptic Instagram caption which seemed to put all the rumours about her behaviour to bed.
In a lengthy post to Instagram, she said: "I watched 'NATURAL BORN KILLERS' this morning and damn I got ENLIGHTENED … and HOLY SMOKES S**T BALLS.
"I'm sure I brought a billion SMILES to me LOOKING LIKE SHREK at a restaurant.
