Asda is selling a dog bed gazebo for just £29.

The Asda website describes this as the "perfect place for your pooch!" And is a stylish way to keep your furbaby nice and cool.

With a mesh panel base for ventilation your furry pal will stay protected from the sun's harmful rays, all without overheating.

Reviews for the bed are largely positive.

One user writes that: "this bed is superb, and great value for money for the size it is." Adding that, "the dog is sleeping on it inside for now until the weather improves."

So it seems it's not just in summer when this bed can come in handy.

Other users have agreed, writing that the bed is "stunning for my dog she uses it in the garden and in the house, looks great, very sturdy, easy to put together, and great price."

The gazebo bed was shared to Facebook where it continued to receive rave reviews.

"Mine loves hers, bought it a couple of years ago, cannot recommend enough. She shades her “baby” too." One user wrote, referring to the dog bringing a toy into the gazebo.

Another wrote that while it's advertised as a "dog gazebo", their cats have also loved being in this.

Some users were quick to point out that, despite the good reviews, their dogs would probably still choose to lie in the sun.

Pet gazebos have been increasing in popularity over the last couple of years.

Pets At Home, Wayfair and SHEIN are all selling these products and Aldi has done previously.

Advantekpet have published a blog post about why you should provide your pet with a gazebo, writing that they provide "shade and protection to your pet whether it’s a warm, summer day or we are expecting some rain."

The can also ensure that your pet is safe and sound, all without having to be kept in a small cage.

One advantage of the gazebo sold by Asda is that it is easy to put together and take down, so you won't have to leave it out all night for other animals to climb all over.
