People spot 'alarming' detail in Prince Albert and Princess Charlene's Christmas card - it's not the dog

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene's official royal Christmas card has got everyone talking for a number of reasons

The Prince and Princess of Monaco have become the latest royals to share their 2025 Christmas card - but fans can't get over one strange detail.

We're well and truly into the festive season now, and for royal families around the world, this means releasing a special card for the occasion.

The cards are usually sent to family, friends, world leaders, diplomats, charities and organisations and typically include a professional photo of the couple, or in this case, the family.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla faced backlash yesterday (8 December) when their card was released, as the public deemed it 'not Christmassy enough'.

And now, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco's 2025 Christmas design has been thrown into the mix.

If you're not familiar, Prince Albert II ascended to the throne of the French Riviera's micro-state back in 2005. Five years before this, he met his wife, professional swimmer Charlene, who is from South Africa, at the Mare Nostrum swimming meet in Monaco in 2000 and they had tied the knot by 2011.

The couple went on to welcome twins together - a daughter, Princess Gabriella, the Countess of Carladés, and a son, Jacques, the Prince of Monaco, both 10-years-old.

In the family portrait, Princess Charlene and Princess Gabriella are sitting down in front of a roaring decorated fireplace and a huge Christmas tree, with Prince Albert and Prince Jacques standing behind them.

And stealing the show tucked up in the middle of the family was their adorable, tiny pet chihuahua, Harley.

The men are donning matching navy suits, while Charlene wore a floor-length taupe pleated gown and Gabriella sported a dusty pink tulle dress.

The caption of the photo read: "The Princely Family is pleased to share their greeting card with you."

Royal fans have rushed to social media to react to the photo, wishing happy holidays to the regal family and obsessing over the cute little pooch.

However, as we say, fans have picked up on another small detail that they just can't seem to get over - some people think that Princess Charlene's head looks like it's been 'photoshopped on' because of the picture's angle and post-snap editing.

One Reddit user wrote: "Charlene’s head looks photoshopped on," while a second added: "It’s alarming how many people haven’t picked up on that."

A third even theorised: "If it was a body double it explains why the hand is floating above the daughter instead of touching her."

While a fourth agreed: "Charlene's head looks as if it was photoshopped into the picture, floating."

And a fifth chimed in with: "Her hand around her daughter looks like it was photoshopped too."

Someone else questioned: "Isn’t she photoshopped in? Looks like they put her face on someone else’s body."

Others added: "Yep my first thought was she looks photoshopped in" and "Why does mom’s hugging hand look photoshopped on, extra large, and miles away from her wrist?"

Meanwhile, someone else quipped: "Was Princess Charlene in the Christmas card? She looks off, like she was photoshopped in."
