Netflix has released a trailer for The Gray Man, which stars Ryan Gosling and Regé-Jean Page, and fans are on the edge of their seat.

The streaming site recently dropped movie posters of Ryan, as well as fellow cast members Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, before releasing the trailer for the action blockbuster.

The film, which is set to see Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean and La La Land’s Ryan coming together as a force to be reckoned with, will reportedly hit selected UK cinemas on 15 July before landing on Netflix one week later (22 July).

The premise is that Gosling's character Court Gentry, a deadly killer, is hunted across the world by fellow killer and his former CIA colleague Lloyd Hansen, played by Evans.

Directed by the Russo brothers, the movie is based on the first of Mark Greaney’s 10-book series of the same name.

The Russos most recently directed Tom Holland in the Apple TV+ movie Cherry but they are mostly known for their Marvel films, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Chris Evans also stars in The Gray Man. (

Now, Netflix has given fans a much-needed teaser of the upcoming film, publishing the trailer from the movie.

Understandably, fans are pretty excited.

The cast also includes Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Billy Bob Thornton and Indian film star Dhanush and the film is reportedly Netflix's most expensive film to date with a budget of $200 million (£158.2m).

The Gray Man will be released in cinemas on 15 July and one week later on 22 July on Netflix.
