And Just Like That: SATC Fans Are Just Realising Where They've Seen The Club Owner Before

We knew it!

William Abadie, who played Tony the Prada salesman, has become the latest Sex And The City actor to make a return, featuring in the most recent episode of And Just Like That.

Remember Tony? He appeared in season six, episode five - titled, Lights, Camera, Relationship. He played a Prada salesman who appears when Carrie takes boyfriend Jack Berger to the designer store for the first time.

"Tony, this is my new boyfriend, Jack Berger," Carrie proudly tells him, not realising that Berger was just episodes away from infamously breaking up with her on a post-it.

You can watch the moment below:

Tony then appears in a later scene, at the theatre where Carrie tries to set him up with Charlotte, who had split from Harry in the previous episode.

“I may have found you the impossible dreamboat: Straight, single and works for Prada," she told her over lunch.

Fast forward almost 20 years and William has reappeared in the show, but this time as a totally different character - a club owner named Zed who Seema meets in Brooklyn.

One TikToker shared a clip of the scene, explaining it was 'bothering them the whole episode' before they realised where they recognised the actor from.

And others were shocked, with one person writing: "This bugged me so much. I was waiting for Carrie to be like hey how have you been? But she legit just walked past him."

While another commented: "Knew from the moment he appeared."

And a third added: "No way!!!!!!! He didn't look familiar at all. 'The only thing sadder is Jack Berger not having Prada'."

Others pointed out that the actor also plays Antoine in Emily in Paris and Roman in Gossip Girl.

William isn't the only actor to be recast in the new series.

Eagle eyed fans spotted the actor who plays Seema's dad, Ajay Mehta, also appeared in the original series, way back in season two.

Back then, Ajay played a waiter, who offered to 'go home' with Samantha after she was stood up on a date. In the end, they didn't go home together, but they did share a kiss.
